IMPO, voting for anyone that has spent their entire adult life in public office or DC who is calling DC or our federal government as being broken while having done very little over that lifetime to fix what is broken while at the same time readily contributing to the corruption and cesspool that is DC and now wants to be elected President to fix said broken corrupt system like the President is a dictatorial all powerful position no matter what Party D or R is like committing suicide cause you keep getting a cold while standing in the rain with no jacket in 40 degree weather, it makes no effing sense. First and foremost, anyone who keeps voting for D and R expecting a change to happen is down right ignorant. The Duopoly has done absolutely nothing to advance the betterment of the American people over the last 100 years. They have, while dividing by race, class, sex, creed, etc. both taken our freedoms and liberties under the guise of safety and security while slowly and systematically destroying what made the UNITED STATES of America great, liberty to make the choices that you saw fit to better yourself and fail and try again. This notion that free everything will make anyone’s life better is laughable because history shows the exact opposite. When there is no incentive to succeed and everyone receives the exact same poverty, which is what you get under any collective ideological political system, then what you end up with, in all cases, is an Oligarchy of elites that control the wealth and the rest of us classless poor who will never even have a chance to attempt to better our lives because it threatens the Oligarchy and their control. Then you end up with revolution or rebellion which in turn ends with millions dead and more power to the Oligarchy. There are two governing systems in the world, a Republic, what we used to be, and an Oligarchy. If you are not a well defined Republic then you always end with an Oligarchy. Every system besides a well defined Republican form of government protected through contractual agreement with the people leads to an Oligarchy, where the chosen and elites control all that is, including your life. It is sad that, as a society, we are too ignorant to see the sheep we have become to a duopoly of wolves controlling our entire government from top to bottom and keep allowing ourselves to be conquered and controlled through the most basic of tactics, divide and conquer. Sun Tsu would be very proud of the way the Duopoly has systematically destroyed our Republic in favor of the Oligarchy through tactics such as the Overton Window technique where they each push our system to an extreme until society screams. Then they step back a notch or two, never back to where they started, and society is happy because it isn’t the extreme, but it also isn’t the previous normalcy. We have, through education, been made ignorant and complacent to this entire process. So much so that very few even see it happening on a 100% daily basis. Do any of you actually believe that DC gives two craps about your individual well-being or your safety? The readily militarize our local police force while overturning State’s Supreme Court rulings upholding our individual rights and liberties in favor of allowing all Law Enforcement carte blanche to search, seize, rape, murder, and plunder WE the people while at the same time saying things like, Those that oppose draconian policies only do so cause they have something to hide and if they don’t have anything to hide then they have nothing to fear from these policies. Every single person on this thread, if you actually read to this point, most won’t, should agree that my life is my life as your life is your own and nobody, outside of actual harm caused to another human being and having been rightly convicted through due process and a jury of their peers, should be forced to live a life based upon someone else’s beliefs. Especially seeing as how the Duopoly is the reason we have to fight and hide in the shadows in order to grow a plant and when they do finally come around to legalization or medicinal use they put so many stipulations and regulations on it’s cultivation and use that it merely resembles being free. When in all actuality you are still begging the Oligarchy for the ability to do something that has not, the use of itself, actually killed people to the extent of other “legal” substances. Even in the states where it is “legal,” according to the powers that be, you still have millions locked up for Cannabis related crimes. How can this be so? Cause it is only legal, it is not decriminalized, and those that broke the prior laws have very little legal standing to have their sentences commuted and their individual liberties restored. History is a wonderful thing to look back on and learn from. The number one murderer of people in the world over the entirety of History has been the governments and officials that swore to protect and defend us lowly people from each other and ourselves. The same people who put out ads like Bernie Sanders or any politician telling us how wonderful life will be once everything is free, nothing is free, and we all have the same education level, house, car, etc. The problem with that system is eventually you run out of other people’s money to steal. We are seeing it all over the world, Argentina, Africa, the Middle East, South East Asia, even here. Once those that do not produce out number those that produce it falls apart quickly and WE the people are the first to starve, be shot, etc. by those same “leaders” who swore to protect and defend us while they sit in their lap of luxury still stealing our livelihoods while still feeding us propaganda to placate our sensibilities and calm our animal instincts of survival. Look around you, the signs are everywhere and the history is all there for us to read, yet we are still ignorant to it. I guess relinquishing your personal responsibility over yourself for a false sense of security is also part of the animalistic nature of the human psyche. The wonderful experiment that was the UNITED STATES of America on whether man could rule himself has showed, to a fault, that as a whole society and man beg to be ruled and controlled by some false prophet or political leader whose only agenda is self aggrandizement. I wish us all luck for the future and our children’s futures. They will really be the ones to suffer for our ignorance.
