I don't know if TMV is prevalent in cannabis. People think they have it but they don't. There are people that would say the plant in the photo I posted had the Mosaic virus. But in reality as that plant grew the strange leaf growth went away and the plant grew just like any other cannabis plant and had normal leaves. Mosaic virus is systemic. It's not just going to go away after a few weeks. Also, there is no actual scientific proof that TMV can infect cannabis. There are claims it can but I have never seen any positive ID of TMV in cannabis done using actual science. Everything I've seen is just stoner science. If there is any actual scientific proof I would be very grateful if someone could provide it. I'm not saying 100% that cannabis can't get TMV but to this date I haven't seen anything reliable that says cannabis can or has. I've read some scholarly articles that were inconclusive with most of them being done on Hemp in China. I'd like to see a tissue sample result showing TMV in cannabis. If that exists I want to see it.
Not agreeing or disagreeing. I just haven't seen any actual proof that cannabis can be infected with TMV other than speculation on various cannabis related sites and we all know that those sources are not reliable.
