Crunchy leaves and yellowing, help!

Where do you get your water from? That's way above what is legally allowed in any jurisdiction. It's actually harmful to health at that level and like someone is adding cautic soda to the water. The calcium carbonate some municipalities add to water to keep the pH above 7 couldn't get the pH that high even if it was way overdosed. I'd be checking your pH pen.

If supply water is below pH 7 cities etc add things like calcium carbonate to it to get it over 7 to protect the pipes and the biofilm that coats them. The screwup that happened in Flint was changing water to an acid one that wiped out the biofilm and let more than lead get leached from the old cast iron pipes in their system.

LOL. City water. Same at several houses. Natural ph is 9 or above for michigan. Used pens, strips chemicals and an independent lab. City and state told me I was using the wrong testing method. Privately owned 50 year old system. Waste and tap are all defective and deadly. Don't drink it. And I filter water for everything around here. I just keep paying insane money for deadly water. And replacing seals and plastic plumbing fittings on a regular basis.

Here is a link. I think we got some good stuff coming out our pipes!

That's a dumbed down consumer version of water quality that covers Oregon in general. You'd have to call 971-673-0405 to get Additional Water Quality Information for your specific area then they might send you a full analytical report or direct you to a link for it.

Last time I was in Oregon was '92 to visit my buddy near Rogue River. Met a nice lady there too and even had her and her young son come up to Canada on the Greyhound to stay over the Xmas holidays and New Years with me and my two boys. We almost hooked up permanent and I was planning to move south. Nice down there with plenty of good fishing. We're still friends online.
