That did not look like a fungus gnat to me either. Most strains stretch in flower, they range from almost no stretch to some strains will triple in size. The plants look good to me, not sure about spraying safers soap without knowing what you're spraying for. I like the weight method for watering too because it's simple. When you water, the pot will be heavy and when it's dry the pot will feel really light. Don't water until the pot feels really light. Lighting will affect your yield so make sure you have a good plan for flowering. I'm no CFL expert but you want lots of CFLs as close as possible to the plant. Use around 2700k for flower.

Hei

IMO it' s fungus gnat. Do not know what else it could be. But got rid of em. Havent seen any for a few days.

Safer soap just to protect my plant a little. I think it will not harm my plant.

Well I have 5gallon pot, so it's never that light. But yeah, got your point. I don't water any 3days now.

Planning to use more LEDs for flowering. But is 3000k ok? Also I want to use some CFLs 5500k. What about 6 LEDs 3000k and 2CFLs 5500k?

I had a problem when my lights were too close to my plant, so I pulled them little away to see if that helps again.

I would run old fashioned cfl for flower over led bulbs unless it's a actual growing light. That's my personal opinion tho.

Why tho?
LEDs generate stronger and sharper light than CFLs. I just think CFLs will be weak for flowering. Especially if my plant is gonna stretch.
What I mean, is that CFLs are only good if they are pretty close to plant. But if my plant is gonna strech, then top of my plant gets the most light (of the tops that are closest to light) and the rest will get a lot less light because CFL light is not sharp enough from a distance. I can solve this problem with LEDs.

Hope you understand what I'm trying to say

About light
RN I have 6 x 45w CFL 5500k (2800lum each) and 2 x 15w LED 3000k (1800lum each)

If my nodes are really close to each other, does it mean my plant is getting enough light so it will not strech that much?

Or is it because 5500k (blue spectre) that doesn't help with strech. So if I switch to 6x3000k and 2x5500k lights it gets much more red spectre light and therefore my plant is gonna strech much more?

When flowering - 6 x 15w LED 3000k (1800lum each or 10800lum compared)
2 x 45 CFL 5500k (2800lum each or 5600lum compared)
It means I will have total 16 400lum. It's less than now (4000lum) Should I buy some more lights (LED 3000k)? Or just use more CFLs that I have already?

It's best to keep your nodes tight as they can once you flower they will stretch regardless but you can control the height by supercroping in early flower.

You have enough light now but once you put it into flower use as many as you can and keep them a few inches away from the plant when I was using cfl I would have about eight bulbs that are 45w, at 2500k

Now I use a cheep led light off amazon, wills 600w led grow light and a 315w cmh and that's perfect for my four plants.

You will have to keep an eye on the cfl bulbs cus the plants will grow fast once stretch starts and you don't want the plant to touch the bulbs but close enough to penetrat the canopy.

I have only one plant, and it's my first grow. Do not want to invest into specific lights and stuff before I can pull this off

Anyway, I need more light for flowering, I understand? So if I get like 8 x 15w Led 3000k and about 3 x45w 5500k CFLs?

Or is 5500k bad idea?
