So I am trying to keep as natural and organic of a grow as I can in my indoor tent setup. I started the vegetative phase with 18/6 schedule. I was wondering about light schedules and was curious about people who gradually increase/decrease light schedule based on “seasonal” cycles.
Here’s what I’m thinking:
4weeks of veg in 18/6, 4more weeks of veg in 20/4, 4weeks of flower in 14/10, 4 more weeks of flower in 12/12....
my thought process is that it’ll increase vegetative growth by adding longer a few more hours in the day to account for a “spring-to-summer” transition. Then going from 20/4 to 14/10 to continue some growth in the plants, but stimulating the flowering stage (representing summer-to-fall transition).
Would these kinds of changes cause delays or problems in my grow?
Would it just be a waste of time and not have any affect?
Does it make sense in the idea that it’d increase growth?
sorry for dumb thought, but I figured it was interesting enough to get some feedback
