DIY with Quantum Boards

Depends which type driver you have. A 185H-54 will divide the voltage where a 185H-C1400 will give constant voltage. I have 4 QB 304 in parallel on a 320H-C2800.

I could have sworn parallel wiring only divided the current while voltage stays the same, always.

Not True. HLG-185-54 will divide the total Amperage of the driver however many times over depending on the amount of 54V boards/strips. To divide voltage, you'd have to be a board that's 28V. You can multiply voltage by adding more in series though. As 2 54c boards in series would not work on the driver. Because it's a 54v driver. Not a 108v one.
As for your boards, the 304's are 100V ish and your staying there by being in parallel, but each one is getting 700mA.

Looking to get 2 of these, can someone explain the difference between these 3 versions? So confused. I just want whichever one is most efficient where I get my most bang for my buck on the main samsung diodes, and don't care about the 660/UV stuff. Looking at the 3K for my bloom room, I will be running a CMH or HPS in between them depending on my heating needs.

ok so this one has the epistar 660nm + UV and IF
It is rated at 175L/watt, makes sense since the UV and IF diodes. Not worth spending extra to get less white light. Im already going with 3K spectrum, and like I said may have HPS running in this room part of the time, and even the CMH is 3100K.

This one has just epistar, but why are there only 250 of the samsung diodes! that's half as many. I think they just counted the diodes for the single board instead of the total per shipment of 2 boards. They should stick to one format for easy comparison

$155 CAD

"252pcs Samsung LM301H+72pcs Epistar 660nm"

ok so this one uses the older LM301b diodes instead of the new LM301H , which is the newer version, but efficiency at this spectrum is apparently not that different? looking at the ppfd map map this one puts out a little less in some areas. I think for an extra $10 thats worth it.

Yeah no, I actually love green genes, but havent been keepinbg up lately and this was more of a spontaneous no research buying decision.

So what I don't get is this alibaba ppfd chart
