what happens when people arent immune and start going out again? genuine question. ive seen reports that the UK might let people out in stages so the hospitals can cope.

Its really worrying. Frontline staff are alarmed at the prospects to put it mildly. It must be heart breaking for them, having to make choices on who they going to plug in a machine. Hope I don't get sick at the peak and get triaged into a coffin. Slow the spread, is a mantra that should have been implemented earlier.

its shocking, it really is. theres been a massive push in the uk for beds, respirators/ventilators and staff... 3D printing parts 24hrs a day...seen a lot of people come together.

all while orange man continues to make a massive tit out of himself and print more and more money, making it absolutely worthless in the long run. Its mind blowing...buy bitcoin.

Im not sure who's worse out of him and Boris...but we're doomed with idiots like them in charge. Its the perfect storm and i dont think a lot of people realise it.

All we can do is watch and hope. That the lockdowns in countries that are further along the curve than UK, show the light at the end of the tunnel.

I dunno. I distrust all politicians. There has been a long tradition of printing extra money that started long before he came in.
But you know the old saying about the grass being greener. Both those individuals and all that comes with them might have flaws. But could you imagine the likes of Corbin and friends in control right now? Popo and army would be issued live ammo, and be active out on the streets.

yeah and its flawed, so flawed. Money used to be backed. My anti FIAT stance is stronger than most. Murrrica are weighing up a digital dollar...

But could you imagine the likes of Corbin and friends in control right now?
lol i cant stand any of them. big change is needed.

Maybe one of the good things that will come out of this ordeal will be a widespread loss of support for the current administrations. Might be a pipe-dream, but we can hope!

But then I'm still befuddled by the fact that Trump has any support, and has somehow managed to create what almost amounts to a cult. So who the fuck knows. Doesn't seem real!

100% backed by real physical gold in vaults. Politicians showed a concerted move to keep big best friends rolling in cash. 2009 they backed them, and have done nothing to change the status quo - no care or concern for the impact or implications for coming generations.

But hey your fiat alternatives are no different. Same thing going on with whales on the exchanges. Periodically and carefully manipulating prices, and consolidating dominance. Then theres Tether, creating instability and building a foundation as a crappy house of cards. That could conceivably pull down all crypto that was originally created as a solution to the problems besetting fiat. Same people and doctrine that led to 2009.

Human nature is the problem.

And again, human nature. The loudest prevails, and then is replaced as opinions sway. Democracy, ftw. As we all get swayed by half truths launched via social media. Big money always wins.

You hit the nail on the head. People have a tendency to believe that this or that ideology, movement, or "revolution" will fundamentally change the world for the better - but in each and every case, they fail to grasp that the problem goes far, far, FAR deeper than a difference in economic theory, or social conscience, or whatever issue is nearest and dearest to their hearts. In the grand scheme, human nature has ALWAYS overridden ideology. Maybe that will change someday. Maybe human nature will change someday. But I'm not holding my breath.

It might sound corny, but it's true that the best you can do for your world is to fix your own damn self.

All that said, I'm still rooting for crypto. Haha. That's another thing about human nature - hope springs eternal...

bitcoin is different, and my number one love (dont tell the mrs), how much do you know about bitcoin tech? A decentralised, anti fragile, P2P immutable store of value IS already changing everything. its remarkable what its achieved in ten years without a boss.

whales on the exchanges.
yeah some fun for sure. but its easy while volume is low and wash trading is rife, particularly the altcoins - its a great way of making more Bitcoin. This will get harder as it becomes more popular as a currency/store of value. Congress called Bitcoin a threat to the dollar in an epic speech... took em long enough to realise (: they know whatsup, lol! Its an amazing watch...check it out if you get a min.

The current financial system is coming to end in my opinion.

As we all get swayed by half truths launched via social media. Big money always wins.
i completely agree. social media...dont get me started on that!
