Auto Flower Strains

Growing Jack Herer auto indoors. Had huge veg stage and now several weeks into flowering. But. No buds are forming. Never had this happen before. It's around 7 weeks. I switched from 18/6 light cycle to 12/12 to see if this would help. Did a lot of deflowering and topped it early on, but, it keeps coming back big. Just no buds. Any ideas?

Some auto beans are S1 and can run all over the place . Some will run and stall . Some need a “ push “ hence flipping to 12/12 .
Not too much of a problem usually. When I run autos , if I don’t see progression to sex / preflower by day 35 or 40 , I make decision to flower as a regular strain. It happens.

What are you feeding her? Plain water, then switch to higher N-P-K. Right about 12/12. Sounding more like a photoperiod, esp. with the topping, defoliating and 'coming back big' than a true autoflower.

I started an OGesus auto from Expert seeds on January 18th .The package says 60 days but doesn’t specify from seed to harvest or what. Being an auto I’m assuming that’s what it means but it only started flowering three and a half weeks ago and looks like it has another four to five maybe even six weeks left. None of the hairs have turned color from white. I’m starting to get a little tip burn because I bumped up the feeding and the ppms into the 800’s . It’s also my first time in DWC so it was definitely a bit of a gamble on my part.

Now it's May 2nd and it's making nice buds finally. Switching to 12/12 probably helped. Slowest auto flower I ever grew. It's 4 months! About a third of the white hairs are turning brown/orange and I can see frost on the sugar leaves with naked eye. I did see a new problem today. The very tips of the leaves are turning yellow/orange. Just the tips. About 1/8". Am I overfeeding? Still has 2-3 weeks till harvest.

Did you leave it 12/12 or put it back to regular schedule?

And we still need pics

who even tops an autoflower?
Some growers do with some good results .... I would think it would be mostly sativas , even the auto variety of Sativa doms strains still push out in grow time ( past estimates ) so it could be ok with a topping . LST is about all I do as far as “ shaping “ them , no chance of a goof if I chose the wrong strain and it stunted.

Just run it thru flower as a photo , sometimes seeds are mixed up at shipping ( even strains / not what you ordered ).
This is a possiblitity. It's not acting like an auto flower. 4 months is insane. Make sense if it's a Fem seed and they messed up my order.
* Any idea about the yellow tips?
