ok i know about that and I've done it before but I'm talking about occasionally cutting a fan leaf that is blocking the light from a bud sight. is there any evidence even anecdotal that the bud at that sight will be more sticky and potent?

not sure but I remove excessive top fanleaves to get more light to the bottom parts of the plant. sometimes I go do a little with it sometimes I just go nuts and remove everything and make it naked, the plant I know don't like that but I don't know why that's just me I don't advise u do this, only thing I could advise is removing fan leaves blocking prime bud locations. people might have other opinions and Ik ill get shit for this but I don't want anything that isn't smokeable aka bud I don't wanna make edibles so I really go overboard but I would like to see other people opinions.

i make edibles out of the good stuff
because I try not too smoke but i want nothing but good stuff too! definitly see some kick ass pruned grows on here. gr865 comes to mind. my low pruned grows have lower larf but i try it out because i want to know and i try verticlish grow though i don't really have the right set up for it.

Maybe a dumb question but by prune I assume you mean branches “larf” etc. do you also mean leaves aka defol and if so how much?i make edibles out of the good stuff
The popcorns on the remaining lower branches are just as good to smoke as they are for edibles.
When you harvest, keep a bowl off to the side specifically for your quality sugar leaf trimmings and small buds. Now you have a high-quality "shake" pile of cannabis.
"shake" gets a bad name. My shake has near or the same efficacy that the bud does. Looks different, but after grinding, it's all the same
Personally, I make edibles and tinctures with my shake for the most part. It's common for me to get one oz of "shake" for every 3-1/2oz of bud I harvest. I go a bit overboard on throwing things into the "cook bowl" (as I call it) as opposed to classifying it as "baggable".

well my mom called me at 3 am (I was 21) and said god woke her up and told her something was wrong with me. Then after picking me up it was praying and preaching for the 1 hour drive back to her house. I don’t advocate using acid to anyone ever.

your comepletely right I just don't like more bottom buds yes their banging but they just don't got the appeal to me if u get what I mean but I really should make edibles with my larfier shake would be nice.
