Any hope for my clones

Hey guys,

I bought 2 inch clones and put them in an ez cloner for a month. Some have small roots but the plant turned brown please see photo below. I just flushed out the water, added fresh water and clonex solution. I keep telling myself since they have roots there is hope. What do you all think

A month is WAY too long in an aerocloner. There are many other things to consider as well. You don't want too much light on rooting clones, nor do you want too much leaf surface trying to generate energy via photosynthesis.

Clonex and other solutions won't help, particularly in this situation.

I'd plant the ones that still have healthy leaves, trash the rest, and hope for the best.

Next run, ensure you understand how temperature, humidity and light affect non-rooted clones. They need high humidity, very low light, and a consistent temperature (water and ambient temp).

We all make mistakes for sure. All of us. Thing is to learn from them, research to patch our misunderstandings, and move on. You will too :)

I'm pretty sure this is a troll post.
OK. I can buy that for sure now that you mention it. It's been difficult lately taking the time to choose who to help. All of the experienced growers are sensing this I think.

It is an actual thing. Even through the mail/post.
That’s nuts. I thought the mail order clones came with roots established. I would think the chances of them surviving would dwindle but I guess it must not be an issue if it’s a normal thing. This is coming from a guy who sucks at cloning, though...next time I try it I’m going to go with an actual cloning setup because I always screw them up.

I clone with a 99%+ success rate (aerocloner), and I agree, it's nuts. Mailing unrooted clones is a thing though.
