Meh...That wasn't that great...don't think I'll use that one.I've enjoyed pulling your strings

Everyone loves being right!! Especially when you can prove it!!How did this thread come to this...... Such an LED vs HPS vibe! I love it!!!!
I honestly don't know what my conversion is. It's the consistency of the reading that mattered most and I just happened to go with that...it's the lower conversion though I think. I only confirmed the 100 ppm on this grow...I was using 1ml/L up until then...so 200ish. I still need to doubled check it more as I don't know how much of the potassium is available as food to the plant in that form, if it is at all. I'm only just recently been looking into how nutrient molecules combine. Funky stuff happens, like how the Nitrogen in calcium nitrate becomes part of the molecule and unavailable as food.Id like to get more alkaline amendments as well but not with Potash though. My Biobizz nutrient line is all acidic.
My Si extract doesnt even take much the EC up so Im surprised your product does. Whats your conversion factor to EC?
The feeding schedule seems nicely thought, you have a sort of base set of micro & stimulants, and regulate the macronutes with watersoluble salts which are most cheap. N P K Ca Mg S
Yes and its states 95ppm right there as claimed
so I just looked and have indeed a Yucca root powder for human consumption here - it tastes bitter-rotten fungic... could I use that for adding a composting recycled soil? or a compost tea? whats it good for anyway? there should be lots of minerals, trace metals & amino acids in it?So you cant read you mean?View attachment 4523526
Uhh well for Yucca...What I know is that it's not used as a nutrients but a wetting agent. Saponins or something. it's great for hydro because minerals and organic compounds don't play well together and it's the saponins that help keep them in suspension. It's perfect for foliar, combined with kelp and fulvic would make a mean feed imo. But it's great at the root zone regardless of the medium.so I just looked and have indeed a Yucca root powder for human consumption here - it tastes bitter-rotten fungic... could I use that for adding a composting recycled soil? or a compost tea? whats it good for anyway? there should be lots of minerals, trace metals & amino acids in it?
here's the Si powder. That plant actually grows here at the street and I gonna use these next year, organic no-till attempt.

Pechnelke - lychnis viscaria - extract is rich in brassinosteroids - this ones overdrive in all directions...
Root rot isn't something I've had an issue with...especially considering the solution sits at 18c. But I've looked into to most things that would give me the biggest gains without becoming too specialised.aha ok so Im seeing youre taking precautions that your roots stay wet while I have to think about airation in soil and amend different stuff.
For maximum waterholding: Stockosorb - but no clue if it may rot ib hydro...
I think there was about 100g of mineral salt in this. That blew me away the most...how the much dry weight food you can dissolve into liquids. 5ml doesn't look anything close to 1 tsp.I use it in the bloom concentrate I make...add a pinch to distilled water and paper filter the solids out then combine the raw minerals. The yellow tinge is from the Yucca.

No U.B. easily takes that title.yes, Finshaggy was the biggest idiot in RIU history
2+2=4....... I got ya bro lolI'm actually absorbed in a significant mathematical issue for an engineering project I'm working on,
I make my own blend which is a lot cheaper. L-glycerine you can get from a nutrition store and the L-Glutamic acid is what you pay most for but use the least amount of. I went just for what the dutch went for 6 ppm of it. There is some kind of reaction between the two acids...the L-glumtic raises ppm and drops pH but as soon as the L-glycine gets added the ppm goes down drastically....which is super fascinating, I believe it is a synergistic reaction rather than a counter active.. A 2:1 ration of Glycine to Glutemic acid seems to be the best ratio I've found and whatever of that to add an extra 6 ppm to the total solution. I make up a 15 litre feed every single day and it take 1/2 tsp of glutamic and 1 tsp of glycine. That fucing amino acids is abit pricey.
Here's a video that demonstrates how not pH'ing downing will lock out the calcium and create limescale and gypsum. When the Glutemic gets added, it chelates and makes it available to the plant again. That fucing amino acids is abit pricey.
Another reason I was so into aminos is that I can replace RO water with reggie tap water on my grow and actually make use of the Ca that's already in tap water...Plus less waste...RO water is disgustingly wasteful. Here's a video that demonstrates how not pH'ing downing will lock out the calcium and create limescale and gypsum. it's also good at keeping drip lines clean apparently. Harvey says it keeps nutrients in suspension or some ish, i forget. I got some on Order.Uhh well for Yucca...What I know is that it's not used as a nutrients but a wetting agent. Possibly reading about amino acids etc.it's also good at keeping drip lines clean apparently. Harvey says it keeps nutrients in suspension or some ish, i forget. I got some on Order.
I've never seen that Amino acid video that's interesting. I've heard of the reaction, but seeing is believing as they say.
Keep in mind Yucca and Yuca are very different to anyone looking into this.
GSC as in Girl Scout cookies?I've been doing a bit of homework on RiU. This whole time I thought GSC was just some strain some company came up with. Like what 10 years ago? It's funny how I was talking about the bro science guys and it was here that the major ones were born from. How ironic. How did that even happen? Were any of you around to witness it?
