As I repeatedly state. This is my experience. I only use "REDS" the last 3 weeks of flower. Appears to mature tri's and flush leaves. I run uv from day 1 of flip.
Interesting , It seems like I get the plants to begin flowering sooner when used for the entire flowering cycle, I've only seen good results so I never deviated from the way I was shown to do it

If it works? Slowly test it. Don't fix what aint broke. Honest truth is get comfortable and stay content.Change when you want to.

Their theory is that some UV and especially Far Red have to work in conjunction with whites to be effective . And the far red has the most (leaf) penetration. blues and whites only penetrate through 1/3 of the leaf I believe. Red was nearly full penetration washing through it.

I honestly believe it kills the plant so to speak. 2 days and leaves lose color and tri get fat heads. Toss a toy under a China 600W full 9 spec a week before finish.

Actually, If I'm to plug anything right now, I'd plug foliar feeding in veg and the first two weeks from flip. Only tried it out this grow and the results were pretty clear. I think my plants are 20cm shorter compared to last grow and the I the kelp really helped with that. The inter node lengths are way shorter and there's a truckload more branching from lateral growth. The amino thing is still a work in progress but I do know heaps of growers foliar with some kind of kelp extract. I never used to think about it growing indoors but it'll definitely be part of my normal routine in the next grows.

@MICHI-CAN , You got me wondering now, I built a vero 29 X4 cob led light and the flower initiator during the same grow, I noticed with the same strain from the grow before that, that my days were shaved off peak by 4 or 5 days , I assumed it was the better vero 29 light but now i'm wondering if it had something to do with the flower initiator ? I've continued to use both ever since and am not going to change it up to figure it out now but maybe one day I'll be in the position to do a run side by side and see..... Thanks for the concept :)

ALSO when using my flower initiator , I only use it for 10 minutes after lights out , Not all night . Just a FYI

Foliar is medicinal after seedling or rooting.

It works, I used growmaus as a guide and built a far red flower initiator , I now use a 14/10 light schedule for flowering and noticed decent results using it, It will give you an extra 5 or 6 days of light in an 8 week flowering schedule :)
I can see that lol
Interesting way to speed up my perpetual...hmmmm. Wow are we having a meaningful conversation, and sharing ideas without judgement..,GTFOOH!

Yeah but it also breaks the apical dominance of the upper canopy so the plant grows outwards instead of upwards. I only sprayed for 3 weeks in total as I got onto it a bit late in the game.
Wish you could show me a plant that grew towards water and not light. Not sure your my age. But this is why I trim.
