Set that shit up. Wanna run the tent for a minute before actually putting plants in so you can dial in heat airflow and humidity.

Yea, I will do a test a run before anything living goes in there. Gotta get that humidity/temp on point.

Now should be a good time, it's not too cold or hot outside and won't be (hopefully) for a while where I'm at.
I was waiting for the cold to let up a bit since I'll be running LED and would prefer not have to spend additional money on heat (or lack of, I should say) issues.

A decent led should keep a tent pretty warm. My little 250w panel raises my grow room (small bedroom) about 8 degrees which is perfect, rest of the house is 66-67 grow room is 75.

To be expected, but nowhere near the amount generated from MH / HPS. Also, fan/filter I'm using is pretty powerful for the size space I'm using for this one.

Your grow space (maybe not the room, but the tent) should be kept 81-84F. At 75 you may hit transpiration issues, deficiencies and sucky growth.

If you run quantum boards expect your tent to be stone cold...... they don’t get hot with a fan running over them.

if you aren’t running quantum boards.... you should be. Look into them.

Tents like 4 degrees warmer than the room. So if it’s 70 in here tent will be maybe 74.

I think I should be ok. One of the reasons i chose led was to avoid the potential heat issues associated with HID lighting especially during the upcoming spring/summer months. In my personal experience/opinion I would rather deal with lack of heat issues than overheating issues. Much cheaper/easier to heat a small space a few degrees (additional lights) than it is to cool off a hot space (AC, dehumidifier, etc..).

Trying to keep it simple for my first 2020 indoor grow. Just lookin 2 get a nice successful harvest without over complicating things.

It's been a few seasons since I've grown anything to harvest (life shit, u know) and the transition from outdoor to indoor is certainly a learning experience in itself. This will be my first solo indoor venture, but definitely not my first grow.

I liked outdoor because nature provides most of what's needed, the grower plays more of a guiding hand type roll, you are just there to observe, feed and make sure nothing hurts your plants. With indoor it's more hands on, u are literally playing "God" for lack of a better word so it's easier for mistakes to happen. With outdoor, so long as you can avoid pests, mold/mildew, and of course nosey people, u are usually in the clear (weather is another factor though).

Indoor, however does offer the ability for complete control which is cool because when something does go wrong it isn't out of your hands. There's no chance of a full week of rainy/cloudy days.

Going to try some new methods this year and see what works best for my new set-up. Mostly just concerned with getting familiar with my space and harvesting some quality buds with a respectable yield for what I'm working with. Should be fun, looking forward to learning and growing (figuratively and literally) with time.

For now, my focus is on getting my environment on point before I get things up and running again. Thanks for the input to those who have commented. Any suggestions/ observations/tips from you more experienced growers is much appreciated as always.

I’m an outdoor gardener looking to go inside too so I’m interested to see your run and finding out what you learn. Happy growing.
