Hi can I just add vinegar to my tap water to bring the ph down the water is currently at 7.7??
Are you mixing your nutrients into the water for feeding? My 7.5ish pH water out of the tap is brought down to about 6.1 pH after adding my nutrients.Yeh fuck that then can't stand the smell of the stuff as it is lol any other suggestions what I can use to bring it down without buying ph down if not what's the best ph down to get thanks for reply
If you just don't want to spend the money on a bottle of pH down, then get citric acid powder and make your own pH down solution. All you have to do is mix it with water to get it to a low enough pH value to make is easy to dose.Yeh fuck that then can't stand the smell of the stuff as it is lol any other suggestions what I can use to bring it down without buying ph down if not what's the best ph down to get thanks for reply

Bio bizz light mixWhat kind of soil you in?
Why you worried about ph in soil? PH swing in soil is a good thing for the uptake of different essential nutrients for the plants. Also, a good soil will buffer ph itself.
Again, what soil you running.
Try mixing up a small batch with your nutrients and check where your pH falls. You might be able to get away without pH down, but it should definitely be on the next to buy list.Bio bizz light mix
So I strongly suggest you test your run off. Soils that are formulated for what we grow will buffer themselves just fine. The swing is a good thing in soil.Bio bizz light mix

I'd start a very light mix of nutes after about 3 weeks to a month. The soil should be fine without any adjustment. I've used all different brands and blends of soil and they all are really good about buffering ph. Just dont love them to death.I'm growing auto's so not using nutes at the moment as there only seedlings should I start using them in veg or wait until they are flowering sorry I'm new to this jyst want some advice from people that have done this
