choose best option led

Hi

I am looking to test for 3x3 a quantum board, and I have some doubts that it would be the best option,my idea would be 480w and regulate them according to the state of the plants.
I want to choose the lm301b that are cheaper than the lm301h and according to what I have read are the same LEDs
I have asked different Chinese companies and these are the prices
Shenzhen Yuanhui LED Limited
480w with 1024 lm301b + 64 cree 660nm 305$
2x 240w with 1024 lm301b + 64 cree 660nm 288$

Zhongshan Koray Opto-Electronic Co., Lt
430w lm301b+epistar 229$
480w lm301b+epistar 235$

Shenzhen Kingbrite Lighting Co., Ltd
480w with 1008pcs lm301b + 144 cree 660nm 378$
480w with 1024pcs lm301h + 64 cree 660nm 352$
2x 240w with 1024 lm301h + 64 cree 660nm 336$
2x 240w with 1008 lm301b + 144 cree 660nm 378$

480w with 1008 lm301b+144pcs epistar 660nm 251$
480w with 1008 lm301h+144pcs epistar 660nm 276$

Shenzhen Meijiu Lighting Co., Ltd.
480w with 1008pcs lm301b + 32 osram 660nm 300$
480w with 1008pcs lm301h + 32 osram 660nm 333$
2x 240w with 1008 lm301b + 32 osram 660nm 238$
2x 240w with 1008 lm301h + 32 osram 660nm 288$

I have thought about choosing 660nm osram-cree instead of epistar, good choice or is it indifferent? With epistar it is much cheaper..
Better to take one with epistar and then supplement with a bar of 660 cree?

Thank's

@fragileassassin did a room with alibaba lights... Check out his setup

You dont need anywhere near 480w for your tent. Youd still rock a 3x3 with 1 of the 240 kits and running them at around 2ft above the canopy instead of at the top of the tent.

Meijiu option
1x 240w with 1008 lm301b + 32 osram 660nm

One of these would be my vote. Meijiu and kingbrite are the ones you want to deal with.
IIRC the meijiu heatsinks are a little thicker. Not much other difference.

I have 16 meijiu panels with the older 561C diodes and the 660 diodes as well idr which mine are i think theyre the epistar.
Very happy with them. Pull over a gram per watt on my first 2 crops with them. This run I should smash 1g/watt

Various pics of the setup in my thread. First shows up on page 4 and 5 when I was prepping the tent.

This is a little side project im doing and making fem seeds that got way bigger than I meant for it to. The bottom branches were forced herm and it has pollinated the rest of the plant within the last few days.
This is a 2x3x5 tent with a single 120w board.

I want to use it in 3x3 but in reality the tent does 3x6, what I have is 9 cxb3590, I don't have much height, my idea is to use them at 370-400W and at a distance of 8-10 "

in the future if I change the configuration they would serve me for 480W

For 3x3 you want to dim down to around 300w and be 18" above tops of plants.
Unless you use more boards, which you could do by just buying the boards separate and leaving heat sinks out and buying drivers local.

Thatll make some nice crispy plants.
GL with it.
now i am running 9 cxb3590 at 320w in one 3x3 and 9 more at 400w in the other 3x3 and I am very happy

I can't turn the lights up that high, because I would play with the extractor and the filter, so far I have been setting the cobs to about 8-10 "and it has been going well, and with the par meter I got good readings

For my doubt it is, go directly to Cree or Osram in reds 660nm, these two options are first on the list

Shenzhen Yuanhui LED Limited
2x 240w with 1024 lm301b + 64 cree 660nm 288$
the format would be like this, with 660nm only

Shenzhen Meijiu Lighting Co., Ltd.
2x 240w with 1008 lm301b + 32 osram 660nm 238$

what do you mean full spectrum? the plates that I have put are 3500K + 660nm
Well, i noticed back a few months ago they offered the Geek light brand knock-offs.
Almost grabbed one myself. They offered all the missing bandwidths to make white led full spectrum. On channels too if you wanted.
Or do you like the electrical efficiency of the 35k, 660 more importantly?

yeah but if you were running 4 cobs @320w in that space you would need more distance than the 8"-10"
which is what im saying, if limited in height or space between the light and plant then you need more boards run softer to output the same light , it allows lights to be closer.

I like the 3500K better because it has more blues, and since I am going to use it for growth and flowering, it is a little compensated for both.

Yes, I understand you, better for me, less electricity consumption, I will also use co2 as well, I will optimize it a little more, when I decide for one and it arrives, there are already measurements to see what PAR it has and I will adjust the power to obtain 1000-1200 ppfd

I think I will opt for the meijiu option...

I get it. What I'm saying though is you can have more blue that helps in flower & veg. Instead of just one spike of 450nm blue.
The Broader spectrum will benifitt your plants on both fronts, providing synergistic effects. Same on the red side. Gotta have n/ir bro. Well, at least i do. EmmersonEffect mang!
W/o Broadening the spectrum the plant lacks the ability to express itself in its best ways for you.
Idk! Just saying cuz those boards offer so many spectral options, being led you have the opportunity to take advantage of monos
& really do something with the spectrum.
To each his own of course. Just my take.
Peace!

I have one of the meiju 3500k 480w with epistar 660's in my 4x4 pheno tent.
If you have any ideas of a larger grow, I'd go with the larger fixture and dim for your needs.
I've been very impressed with this fixture.

Last I knew, you lose the benefit of the Emerson Effect at the PPFD most growers target. More relevant if you're photon-poor, as I understand it.

So you disagree that Emerson drops off as PPFD increases? Because that's contrary to the widely accepted paradigm. The number I've seen is 600ppfd; above that Emerson has been reported to be negligible. If you have data that shows otherwise, please do share.
That's cool. Yeah, i heard some nonsense like that too. Even if it was true that the Effect was slightly reduced. The whole other half of the plant is getting 400-600ppfd depending on locality. Plus synergistic effects happen throughout, not focalized on only the areas getting high or low light (unless UVB blasting or bare diode exposed)
The plant balances & digests, just as we do.
All the "Data" your looking for will not be available for another yr or 2 unless you hear what i say with an open-mind, consider the fact that i have been trying all these things in my garden for 7 yrs about now & see it all with my own eyes & scale. I pay attention to Patients responses on finished mat. & have nothing to gain or lose whether you or others believe me or not.
Not just EmmersonEffect anyways. EmmersonEffect is just one of many undiscovered or unproven effects of a broad spectrum. Each n every wavelength correlates with another n another n another.

Minding what we learned by Burplating & everything learned from WhiteBoyin, & never combing what you've learned about both to consider more then what the led company told you is NO better then believing the burple lies or the white lies put on by both.
They both carry so many truths when used properly.
Oh man. I'm sorry i can't provide any more links proving my point. Not my cup-o-tea as it is & when i did take the time to search, read, & provide links, nobody read them or watched the videos anyways. Obliviously as barely anyone knows what I'm talking about whenever i refference a point or fact from them.
I have given you guys the answers to so many problems or issues going on that people act unaware of or make excuses for.
Yet only a handful have agreed to at least consider.
Only the true testers or truth seekers are on this level. Its not for everyone. I understand your points of needing non-existent scientific evidence & am Not trying to convert you.
Just sharing what i know with whomever is listening, hoping to help them in some way.

We can do a SBS anytime man. Both of us can simultaneously, using your & my spectral methods n see how you feel then bro.?
I'm willing to take the loss yet again to just help one person see the Canna-Light.

thats a lot of talk without actually saying anything, how about you get specific and layout the magic spectrum for growing cannabis?.
draw us a quick pic of what you think the perfect spectrum would look like, say from 300nm to 800nm. we can call it the 'hybridway curve' and we can all come back in another 7 years and see how 'right' you are...
