Crimson Grows

finally today 2 of my clones are looking a bit better. Now these 2 i talk about were taken like 3 weeks ago and they had roots and were transplanted into solo pots. I transplanted like 10-12 total and if these 2 can make it a total of 4 will be left out of that 12 which is fucking abysmal. The others just wilted and lost colour and turned to mush. Sad sight to see. But after a couple applications of amanitha (agrobacterias) and propolix (some propolis based antifungal) now those 2 seem better and there is actual detectable growth which makes me happy. I’m backing of the antifungal treatment for a couple of days because i don’t want to stress them more.
as for my second batch of clones, they are green and firm and i’ve been applying the same antifungal treatment to them also and for now they seem ok with it. I hope this batch gives me a better success rate because if i can’t clone my genetics i’m in danger of losing some beautiful plants forever and that would hurt. Keeping fingers crossed and hoping for the best.
i’m gonna upload some pics. It’s dark time now in the clone tent. I’m giving them 2/2 so they get 12hrs total but they don’t flower.

It has been 14 days since the flip. Looking fine. Even NL is catching up. Not 100% but still it’s looking ok.

Tiny bit of yellowing on the NL x DC cross. On the new growth. I’m gonna feed it some kelp and aminos in a couple of days and maybe some molasses too. other than that, everything seems fine for now. NL kinda caught up. It could have been as big as the Dinachem if i haven’t stunted it with transplant shock but c’est la vie!

dinachem is looking amazing. just want to drop you some beautiful pics. Others are fine too. Some burn on the tips of the dc x nl cross but i think it’s wind burn and some root problems. My blumat pressure reducer shit the bed and the tray got flooded, thankfully it dripped slowly so i caught in time but the tray was filled with water and i said “yeah i’m gonna let them wick it back up to see what happens”. NL never looked better but the cross seems unhappy about it. Anyway i’m sure it’s gonna get over it slowly.

anyway here’s some pure positivity

I’m counting today as the start of the third week in flower. I flipped at the 3th but they transitioned a bit late. In 14 day pics it’s clear that they are a week into flowering. that helps me as all this is growing from cuts. Dinachem will need 70-75 days, Blue Kush and NL will need 60-65 days total. Let’s see how long it’ll take for the cross finish.

the bottle of alg-a-mic i had was smelling funky so i just gave all of it to the dinachem and blue kush. Not much was left only ike 25mls or something, i don’t think it’ll burn. We’ll see.

Nl is looking fine. Not as big as the others as i stunted the shit out of it at the beginning but i think i’ll hit my 100g mark for this one. Fuck it, It’s looking healthy and that’s all that matters hahha

Hey, I found you on the LED thread.

When I was using media I got the idea to use Air Pots (also worked great when I switched to polished stones and top feed using Hydro Halo Drip rings).

A huge benefit is that I started in small ones, when they were ready to be transferred into a bigger AP, I simply dropped the starter pot in tact into the larger AP = zero stress, OR, you can carefully remove the AP which is held together with one plastic locking screw, simply lay the plant on its side, remove the screw and gently pull away the AP wall, then insert into the larger AP. Loosen the media and side fill

yeah airpots are definitely a smart buy but i just prefer smartpots because i usually flood the trays to water them and i don’t like plastic that much. This time i was using blumats but the pressure reducer failed so it’s down for now while i’m waiting for a replacement. So smartpots worked well because i had to switch back to manual watering again.

Tents looking cool Dinachem needs more nutrients so i topdressed 2 days ago and since i was at it did the other 2 also. NL didn’t get any as it’s pretty dark and healthy atm. I always wait too long before i topdress haha.

everything is gettin fatter branches are bending. Yellowing is clear on everyone except the Nl. I missed the correct window to topdress because i’m lazy but what are you gonna do. still branches are very heavy and nugs are very dense so i’m very optimistic about my yield. Fingers crossed.

had a real mold scare, these seem ok and untouched by it. i haven’t weighed them yet and I actually found only 2 tops on each that were moldy. A week more and i would have lost everything (i know it by experience). I live so close to the sea that it’s impossible to get the rh below 70-75% and with nugs that are this dense, it just doesn’t work. So now hunt starts for a kick ass dehum. maybe even 2 because this is frustrating. These were the last 2 weeks which could have added another 15%. Well next run then.

they’re looking fine to me, it’s been 8 days since i transplanted, not there yet but i’m sure by the end of this month they’ll be ready to flip. all the yellowing, burned tips etc etc are old stress caused by staying in a small pot for too long. i should defol sometime soon.

blue kush and dinachem S1- blue kush was the most stressed out plant, it was throwing purple leaves on the previous set now its getting greener and greener.

cannalope haze - i had 2 of these plants 2 out of 3 germinated, the other was the fast finishing pheno as advertised by the seedbank. this was way better than that fast finishing gal so i kept this. beautiful plant and brilliant smoke, well worth the 14-15 weeks.

not much difference is visible in the pics but the leaf colors are pretty much normal now and i took of a considerable amount of tiny growth tips from destroyers. eventho its 100% sativa this gal likes to bush out and doesnt do much vertical growth.
