Hydroxychloroquine, yes I would take it, or fuck Trump?

Would you take hydroxychloroquine to fight Covid 19?

So Trump just says something then leftist scumbags say the truth is the opposite and then you find out in the end that the United States Government with the highest funded doctors in the world give the medication to the President. It's almost like every single person who doubted god emperor always get proven wrong. He's driven your side crazy and you will see in November when he landslides the election. Your side is so fucking far off track it's amazing. All the media coverage benefits your side but it has driven people away and towards Trump. Now the corona is going away and America gets to watch democrat governors attempt to keep it closed as long as they can. Too damn funny. I'll never make another account here if Trump doesn't win the election with 60% of the vote. - WORDZ
What is 'media' to you?

I would quit watching ones that try to trick you into believing the stuff you are saying, because they are just trying to get Dear Leader elected. He is a liar and expects all his minions to lie for him.

Dear Leader's cult logic.

Despite risks, Trump says he’s taking hydroxychloroquine

"President Donald Trump said he is taking a malaria drug to protect against the coronavirus, despite warnings from his own government that it should only be administered for COVID-19 in a hospital or research setting due to potentially fatal side effects.

Trump told reporters Monday he has been taking the drug, hydroxychloroquine, and a zinc supplement daily “for about a week and a half now.” Trump spent weeks pushing the drug as a potential cure or prophylaxis for COVID-19 against the cautionary advice of many of his administration’s top medical professionals. The drug has the potential to cause significant side effects in some patients and has not been shown to combat the new coronavirus."

Not going to get into the politics of this but I have been taking hydroxychloroquine (plaquenil) for over 8 years for rheumatoid arthritis....never any mention of potential heart issues even though I had 3 bypasses AND aortic valve replacement the year before.... that along with 20 years of MS drugs. I'm still kicking and AAMOF; though my immune system is compromised due to 20 yrs of steroid based drugs, I've actually caught absolutely NO VIRUS' the past 8 years and no major flares of RA.
Yes, my eyes are checked twice yearly....at over 70, I'm still 20/20 and can clearly see the babe I bang often.

I am glad you still have access to it, although it would be nice to have had it actually work at all for this virus. I wish you the best of luck continuing to not getting the flu and being relatively healthy these last 8 years.

For those given hydroxychloroquine, there was a 34 percent increase in risk of mortality and a 137 percent increased risk of a serious heart arrhythmias. For those receiving hydroxychloroquine and an antibiotic — the cocktail endorsed by Trump — there was a 45 percent increased risk of death and a 411 percent increased risk of serious heart arrhythmias.

Those given chloroquine had a 37 percent increased risk of death and a 256 percent increased risk of serious heart arrhythmias. For those taking chloroquine and an antibiotic, there was a 37 percent increased risk of death and a 301 percent increased risk of serious heart arrhythmias.
I really hope you continue that streak because it looks like you this drug is bad news for people who get it and are using it.

We don't drink that Kool-Aid around my neck of the woods. I went to med school in the last 60s, early 70s so am far more aware than to believe the bs some seem to tout. I have 4 heart doctors I see yearly....never any mention of bs being reported here.
Yall need to go back to smoking weed.

Then you know the scientific value of anecdotes like yours are worthless as far as evidence and proof go, the jury is still out on HCQ with over 40 studies awaiting, though the cardiac risks are well known in certain patient cohorts. Do your cardiac specialists know you are taking HCQ? Did you tell them or ask them? Perhaps it might be wise to proactively inquire at your next visit.

lol yeah, there are a lot of disinformation flowing on this topic, it makes it so anyone who doesn't have a medical background has no clue what is going on and retreat to their 'camps'. It is the reality of online comment sections/forums anymore. I try to stick to legitimate journalism organizations like the AP/Reuters for reporting.

Good grief....your jury appears out but mine isn't...did I mention my med college was on the diagnostics side?.....Of course, My heart docs, my MS docs, my RA doc, my eye doc all have been aware for 8 years cause they ALL had to sign off on it.
Turn off MSM and smoke a doob.

I just want to make sure I understand what you are saying.

Did you just say that HCQ does not cause heart issues in patients who take it because you have heart problems and you take HCQ?

Have a look at this FFS, just out today. You want the Lancet article too?

Study links drug Trump touted to greater risk of death

Seriously ill Covid-19 patients treated with hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine were more likely to die or develop dangerous heart arrhythmias, according to a large observational study published Friday in the medical journal The Lancet. Researchers looked at data from more than 96,000 Covid-19 patients from 671 hospitals. All were hospitalized from late December to mid-April and had died or been discharged by April 21. Just below 15,000 were treated with the antimalarial drugs hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine, or one of those drugs combined with an antibiotic.

Here it is anyway, since ya got issues with the main stream media. Any issues with these guys doc?

Chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19: why might they be hazardous?

The findings from Mehra and colleagues' study add to preliminary reports suggesting that regimens of chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine, alone or with azithromycin, are not useful and could be harmful in hospitalised patients with COVID-19.

"In The Lancet, Mandeep Mehra and colleagues5 report the largest observational study published to date on the effects of chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine, with or without a macrolide, in 96 032 hospitalised patients (mean age 53·8 years, 46·3% women) who tested positive for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus

2. Verified data from an international registry comprising 671 hospitals in six continents were used to compare patients with COVID-19 who received chloroquine (n=186, hydroxychloroquine (n=3016), chloroquine with a macrolide (n=3783), or hydroxychloroquine with a macrolide (n=6221) within 48 h of COVID-19 diagnosis, with 81 144 controls who did not receive these drugs. The primary outcome was in-hospital mortality and the occurrence of de-novo non-sustained or sustained ventricular tachycardia or ventricular fibrillation was also analysed. A Cox proportional hazard model accounting for many confounding variables, including age, sex, ethnicity, comorbidities, other medications, and COVID-19 severity, showed a significant increase in the risk of in-hospital mortality with the four treatment regimens compared with the control group (hazard ratios [HRs] of 1·335 [95% CI 1·223–1·457] to 1·447 [1·368–1·531]). Analyses using propensity score matching by treatment group supported this result. The increased risk of in-hospital mortality was similar in men (1·293 [1·178–1·420] to 1·408 [1·309–1·513]) and women (1·338 [1·169–1·531] to 1·494 [1·334–1·672]). The incidence of repetitive ventricular arrhythmias ranged from 4·3% to 8·1% in patients treated with a 4-aminoquinoline, compared with 0·3% in the control group (p<0·0001)".

I almost hit like, but the whole MSM kills me. It is just a ink blot test for people to decide what it means in some attempt to either attack or defend something.
