have a look at - https://www.cutter.com.au/product/ssk-1560zge-35-2835cr/ very similar to plc's photoboost but using cree's new 2835 midpower @ 224lpw.

They come at a very reduced price if you go for LED TEKNIK reds, they are about the same efficiencies as the xpgs but cheaper.

I had them made custom as a vanity self present for last years birthdday (which by now feels like 10 yearss ago, preconfinement time...)
Wide blue channel, neutral white and phosphored covered reds with an extra wide fat tail, it hits 680nm at almost 80% of max intensity. I know i had photos of the spectrum uploaded in the perfect spectrum thread, if not goo and check out the led Buddies thread. Very nice but still not in use.

Sds was gone until a few weeks before you were back, not sure if hes caught up with everything. You can catch gg at instagram or youtube, greengenes garden....te pedia una lista no un favorito..... pero he de conformarme con tu favorito...

i know a lite bit of @SDS_GR ... pero puedo estar muy equivocado ...la gente cambia ...o uno mismo esta muy errado desde un principio... for my pov sds go on concentrate way.... corto sumiso parco en extensiones
usa su tiempo en cosas que le interesan y pasa del resto ...y ahora o siempre he sido del resto..... pero seguramente este totalmente equivocado...los años no pasan en valde ni para mi ni para el.... o si... quien lo sabe o juzga...yo no
yeah i know this contact ways to gg ... solo me llevara tiempo que me comunique con el ... se que estara liado a tope con sus cosas... pero no tengo prisa.... llegaran los contactos con chillled cutter y otros fabricantes....
ese Supraaaa.... ya me gustaria tener una charla con el... aunque me da que eso sera como lo de guod o positivity

Yes ,one of many conformal coatings available at spray can form.
There are others* also formulated especially for LEDs and cheaper ,
but this one is solvent-free.

This good for burning sulfur or would you have to cover the chips even further? Cause then this is a must have for my next builds.
This elastic & transparent acrylic coating ,as long as is applied and cured properly ,will protect the LEDs from :
-humidity, but also from water splashes ,sprays & mist.
- various hazardous to LEDs gasses ( like oxygen ,H2S , SOx ) and atmospheric pollution.
- dust ,fibers and other airborne solid particles .
- UV radiation
- VOCs
and from few other hazards that may
develop on an unprotected pcb ,even like “tin whiskers”.
They also protect you and others from
high voltage ,if present .
All those ,coming with a negligible impact on the light output .
For uncoated -thus unprotected-LED strips IS a must-have !

Wonder which is most suitable? Silicone based or urethane.
For horticultural purposes acrylic or PVB coatings will do just fine .
PU conformal coatings are suggested for use in really corrosive /harsh environments .

So is it even worth bothering with?
If not using the pu coating I don't see why one would bother
I know the new Samsung horticulture strip has a pu coating, do you know if Bridgelux does in Thier EB strips?
Im not sure if Bridgelux apply conformal coatings on their LED strips.
