I flushed 4 gal into a 4gal pot then tilted bucket on its side to get the rest out threw the drain hole then another 4 gal same thing
yes for many years with many different setups... the reason u dont feed feed feed because the salt buildup causing the same problems hes having... u can either feed feed water or flush out ur medium half way thru...you treat a hempy like hydro, not soil. nutes all the time.
have you grown in hempys before?
yes you do feed always. if you don't overfeed, you don't get salt build up.the reason u dont feed feed feed because the salt buildup
sorry but a 2" res in a 5 gal bucket does not last 3 days for a moderately large plant in full bloom. even in regular DWC hydro, a plant that size drinks easily a gal a day.give u min 2 to 5 days based on the size of the plant... usually 3 days on avg for a plant producing 2-4 oz
This is nonsense. Please stop giving terrible information.yes for many years with many different setups... the reason u dont feed feed feed because the salt buildup causing the same problems hes having... u can either feed feed water or flush out ur medium half way thru...
as for ur other question about perlite retaining little water is not true at all... the way ur explaining this is as if ur using regular pots.. this method is simply a passive hydro system that wicks water from a predetermined sized reservoir. so ur medium and reservoir should give u min 2 to 5 days based on the size of the plant... usually 3 days on avg for a plant producing 2-4 oz
So it's nonsense that I called out a salt buildup in the beginning of this thread and told him to give only water every 2-3 feedings to prevent such things while ur literally saying the same regarding buildup having him do a heavy flush to remedy a problem caused by feeding everyday or as the other poster said "feed 2x a day"This is nonsense. i don't think you are grasping the difference b/t feeding and overfeeding. i've experimented with hempys where i fed them 4x a day. multi feeds doesn't equal salt buildup as long as your EC is low enough. and you get the correct amount of runoff.to remedy a problem caused by feeding everyday or as the other poster said "feed 2x a day"
