I went to school for welding, my eyes are more sensitive than others, after a long day of welding the arc will make you tired it isn't all about UV but also is about the intensity of the light and how you shade it, and what your eye color is. You can have permanent damage without the proper safety equipment in welding. All an HPS is , is an arc in a bulb, same deal.

Method seven has full UV protection and IR absorption. The website doesn't say A B and C but if you watch there videos on youtube they go into more detail. They say they have one of the few lenses that block UV C.Method 7 HPS Glasses don't mention if they protect your eyes from UV A,B, or C plus you can not feel radiation burning holes in your eyes balls, you might feel snow blindness because its the full spectrum.
