Many times it’s just a stress herm which is exactly what your saying, free feminized seeds. Just like a regular pollination it’s not always a good cross but you you won’t know unless you grow em.
ideally they will always be feminine but this is a point of contention that I have argued. It’s said that the result cannot be male as the alleles paired to yy which guarantees female. It’s also said that if a male occurs it was a contamination of the pollination, my argument is that I have found a male in feminized seed from Dinafem. They are known for breeding in a very clean and scientific way specifically feminized. The male was identical to the females in the pack! I would love to see this studied, I am convinced there is more to the story, natur has it’s ways.

In 8+ years of growing ive had a 100% fem rate on seeds found in lowers from my own plants...and same on random seeds ive found in sacks of Dank...like if i purchase a quarter or sumthin n find one random seed in the sack, always female...thats how i got started growing...I was buyin sacks off of a local guy who ran the same cut over n over cloned... Critical Kush...breakin apart a bud one day a seed popped out n the light bulb went off, "hey i can do this"...hopped on Google n found Rollitup n here we are ...heres my 1st grow ever...ha...Miracle grow soil and nutes...ha...but i started learning more n more from each grow...im really passionate abt it and if life circumstances were differerent I'd love to do it for a living but I'll have to settle for just growin my own smoke for me n the ole lady...

Not too different from my first grow, they didn’t have CFL‘s back then so mine was a cardboard hood with several dangling 70 watt HPS lights from garage fixtures I took apart. Man I sucked back then but it was the most fun thing I’ve ever done, my memories of those grows are really good, I even liked trimming back then!

If I got a boy VG from these I'd be stoked. I stumbled across someone saying that's where Ken Estes claims the male came from to make the GDP seeds that they sell. I bet it's possible, just like you said, Nature has it's ways.

Those are sweet chunks for cfl! damn! That's basically how I started growing too, found a couple bagseeds from some Larry OG and then one from some Cinderellas Dream, from dispos in LA. My girlfriend was like "why don't you grow those?". I said "Oh idk i've tried my whole life, it's crazy and elaborate and you have to dedicate way too much time to it..." Needless to say I popped them beans and started making blanket tents.

I think this was my first run with actual seeds from the Vault. I won some Seedsman northern lights and it's all kinda blurry from there on

Mad props for disassembling light fixtures to grow dank! Ya'll paved the way for us spoiled LED guys who never had to struggle!

I think I even had some incandescent lights labeled as “grow lights” back in the day. All my seed was mexi bag seed until I got the balls to get some from Amsterdam, skunk#1 and northern lights. I remember taking my first big batch, 4 ounces woo hoo big batch, to a dead show in 93 and was too embarrassed to sell any. Nobody complained about smoking it though!

Check out this CFL madness... 2nd grow I went one bigger plant in same space instead of a few small ones...600actual watts of cfl bulbs...ha

See, for me it was guys like y’all that inspired me to up my game with genetics. I was too paranoid to get seed for a long time but as the internet filled with younger people taking the risk and it became mainstream and so many posted online with pictures I was like “I’m missing out”. It blows my mind that I now have license to grow and absolutely legalization is on the way, it was a pipe dream when I was a kid. I remember signing the norml petition at my first dead show when I was 18, thinking it would never happen. Crazy!
