I was thinking yeah I was looking at the spider farm that's a SamsungThats the rig i have. Par600 and TS600. I wanted another light and noticed 2 ts600 is 3x3 veg coverage and cheaper to achieve than the more expensive models. Its easier to replace one small light than a big expensive one. If you are dead set on getting another model. I suggest anything with Samsung, and quantum boards.
Yeah cost a pretty penny tooHLG 225 is a good one
I'm probably going to throw the blurple in the 1×4 feet and then use the TSMars hydro and the spider farm for my 4 × 4 sectionMinimum of 500 watts of top-tier diodes for the 4x4.
Watts only matter for 2 things. Your power bill and socket specs. Lol. Par is what you need to look for with any light. Spyder gets great reviews but I don't know their exact par ratings. The Mars ts600 is over 900 par at 18 inches. That'll fry anything if it's too close. The par600 is 1020 par at 18 inchesMinimum of 500 watts of top-tier diodes for the 4x4.
Or I was going to put the viparspectra in the small space either or right now I got a few plants that are over nutrient and one that's under nutrientExactly.
Use the Mars for the small veg section and buy a suitable amount of wattage for the 4x4.

Cool thank uThese are currently on sale, and have extra discount codes available. I picked up 5 of the PB2000 boards for $145 each.
PB1000: (20% off code:J2GPB1000MAR)
PB1500: (20% off code:J2GPB1500MAR)
PB2000: (20% off code:J2GPB2000MAR)
PB4000: (10% off code:J2GPB4000)
Can't promise all the codes work, but the PB2000 one did for me on top of their sale price. So far it's working great. A bit warm on the driver, but nice warranty through Amazon so I'm loving it for what it is so far.
My point is/was that light isn't ever measured in watts,. Thats why you see these LEDs and CFL bulbs stating its the equivalent to a 60 watt bulb. Meaning the average 60w bulb is 800-850 lumen. Now days wattage is just an efficiency rating. A 25w cfl produces the same lumens as the 60w. Youre getting the same amount of light, just at a more efficient wattage..The two most important things for me personally when looking for a light is the Par and Kelvin rating.Watts are what most folks can measure.
Having an idea of the efficacy of your fixture's leds will allow you to extrapolate the ppf value.
Spot ppfd values only illustrate how well(or not) the fixture is at dispursing the photons evenly.
