Happy Canada Day Bud!
What variety are you? I scanned through the thread but didn't see any mention of genetics.
However, I can say this, Bud looks bushy and healthy.
Ignore the "throw it away" crowd. Ask yourself this: what's your goal? To take care of a beautiful, healthy plant? Then you're already winning.
Do you have other confirmed female plants around, or is this your only plant?
Too many details left out here.
>there are times when I have him outside in the sun and he starts to droop
By the sounds of it Bud is not outside all the time. So what you need to do is harden him off so that he can start spending all the time out there. I recommend putting Bud outside for the night. Keep him inside the next few days when it gets the hottest out, but then in the evening leave him out - overnighting will harden him off faster. The following day, bring back in for a few hours when its sunny and hottest. otherwise if its overcast start leaving him out all the time. after 2 - 3 days of this he should be fine.
Careful though. You never know if you have a neighbor just around the corner who has some rare female genetics growing outdoors. If you seed their girl, they'll never forgive you!
