Pls Help. I have 3 auto flower CBD plants that I'm growing to make cbd oil for my mom who suffers from MS. They're in week 5 of flower. They were top dressed 5 weeks ago. A week ago 1 plant started to show signs of nutrient burn even though they haven't been fed in over 5 weeks. I checked everything and found that my pH meter was way out and my coco ph was very acidic. I have flushed all the plants twice now. My coco ph is back in range between 6 and 6.5 yet my plant leaves are still burning and curling. Now I noticed today that 1 of the other plants is starting with tip burn. My environment is 75 degrees at 43% RH. Plants are under a Mars Hydrow tws 2000 which is 300watts from the wall and 13 inches above the canopy. If there are any Coco w Gaia Green Gurus out there please help I cant afford to lose this crop, its medicine for my mom

I never checked the ph of the run off. I dont water to run off because I'm using slow release fert. I probably should have. I've been checking my mediums ph daily with a blue lab soil ph probe. Should I flush again and test the run off?when you flushed what were you ppm readings?
Why are you using a slow release fertilizer with Coco? Might not be the best idea and its going to be hard to flush. You could keep flushing until it's all gone but then you'll have to switch to a regular fertilizer that's more appropriate for coco. At this point leave it and see if it stabilizes, maybe hit it with with some microbials.I never checked the ph of the run off. I dont water to run off because I'm using slow release fert. Ppm meter keeps you in balance. For example lets say you feed them today @ 700 ppm. The on Saturday you feed another 700. Without a meter you wont know once your 1400+ out of range for the plant/strain type. Trouble starts when your out of range.I never checked the ph of the run off. Being out of PH range and Ppms just never work out well in the end.Ppm meter keeps you in balance. For example lets say you feed them today @ 700 ppm. The on Saturday you feed another 700. Without a meter you wont know once your 1400+ out of range for the plant/strain type. Trouble starts when your out of range.
I've used slow Gaia green with coco for my last 2 runs and never had any issues. It's super simple to use, mix it into the coco at transplant time and for autos top dress at week 5. The plants should be hungry right now not showing nute burn signs that's why it doesnt make sense to me. I realize my ph was off but cant figure out why they're still burning. I hear you, But if the environment is the same the Ppms are the usual suspects.I'll flush again this evening and check the ph and ppm of the run off. It's just so different because with slow release fert you are feeding the microbial life in the coco which breaks down the nutrients for the plant to consume when it needs it. Instead of bottled nutes where to feed the plant directly.

Pretty safe, hard to over water coco as long as your pots are letting the excess water escape. Flush away and just let it dry out before next water.Is there potential of over watering if I keep flushing? I've never watered coco with run off before.

That's the thing about slow release organic dry Amendments, there are no salt build ups, that's why you dont water with run off. The nutrients feed the microbial life in the coco. Generally its 800 to 1000 for flower. Some strains are sensitive than others.I dont even know what range the ppms should be in for an auto flower in week 5 of flower. Any ideas?
