They tend to pout after a good trimming. Just water cause you let the plant bleed. When cutting, pruning, I always use cinnamon to seal the wound on stems approaching the size of a pencil or larger to prevent bleed out and introduction of diseases. Those plants are big enough to take more abuse than you dare inflict. And will fully recover before flower. I'm now topping my three larger plants evey other day and defoliating weekly on my larger plants. If you want quality over quantity, then remove all inferior branches and about half of your lower vegetation. You need to do it in steps with this heat and crazy sun intensity. A little at a time. We still have enough veg time out doors. Huge root mass. Less growth points+ BIGGER BUDS.
