I would be okay just running a short run then piece the 3/4 inch flexible hose and run 1/4 inch from each peircing no Manafold. Outdoor we just pierce the main line and attach 1/4 runs off it with emitters. We don’t have the pressure though, which could be why manifold is neededI think that is a 1/2” NPT thread. You would likely need a 1/2 male adapter then a reducing coupling to increase the 1/2 to the 3/4 pvc you are most likely going to use
what I did was got a second barbed adapter fitting, then I took flexible hose and used it in between my watering manifold and my pump
Have you tried to unscrew the barb at the top of the pump? If you want to go straight from the pump to PVC, you can take that nipple out and screw in a pvc fitting with an adapter.I would be okay just running a short run then piece the 3/4 inch flexible hose and run 1/4 inch from each peircing no Manafold. If you can, use PEX or some other pipe that isn't known to be toxic. I guess there is a fat chance of getting people to stop using pvc, but if you care about your endocrine system it is advisable.Im looking at plumbing for drip system.
