I gave this a like but seriously what a fucking moron the governor is, I just don’t see the reasoning? Is there something I don’t get? We have a pretty much a province wide mandate now and it’s actually become just a thing now and forced the dumb ones to wear one. you carry your mask with you. All stores have hand sanitizer stations at the door and they limit the numbers allowed in, a pain waiting but it is what it is.

Population of the two states are pretty close. Oregon = 6 M, Georgia = 9 M. Last week, Oregon had 12,000 new cases, Georgia had 117,000. OR Gov Kate Brown issued statewide orders for masks and restrictions on large family gatherings. Georgia gov did the opposite.

This can't be a simple matter of ignorance or mental impairment. Nobody is that dumb. This is intentional.

Lock downs work. The faster u lock down and get rid of the disease the faster life gets back to the new normal and the economy gets back on track. Hell, the faster life gets back on track. With nearly 600,000 (probably more) people dead in just a short time, be over a million dead by christmas and economies in a downfall its not a real hard choice to make. Its the same choice Humans have always made and its tried and tested.

No I don’t think it is! I see Oregon has told Trump to keep his troops on federal land or get out. Glad I’m not a conspiracy nut ................. :(

The governor Georgia is just as stupid and malicious as Trump, he stole the election there FFS, what do you expect from such people. Most of these red state governors are almost certified fucking morons if you take a hard look at them, held hostage in most cases by human scum, the most extreme racist right. The price of tens of thousands of American lives was a Goddamn mean tweet, how cheaply life is sold by these assholes.

Florida Georgia and Texas are all being fucked over by covid, by Trump, Trumpism and their governors and it's just getting going, epidemics of epic proportions in spite of all the warnings and successes of all other nations. There is one senate seat in Texas and two in Georgia up for grabs and a lot of electoral college votes there too, I don't think Trump and those republican senators have a snowball's chance in Hell come November, even Ms Lindsey and Moscow Mitch are gonna sweat to win and could even lose, covid is running rampid in SC too. It will be blue all the way down the ballot from top to bottom for many and next year is redistricting, just in time, the perfect storm for the GOP, 2022 promises to be a very hard year for them too.

Who I am and where I'm from are obvious from my sig, though over 300,000 Canadians are dual citizens and almost all vote democratic, that's way more than Trump won by in swing states in 2016
