Do you find that flower starts faster with 24hrs of dark? I wait to flip till they show sex like yours, and it takes about a week of 12/12 for things to get going.Strong signal to let them know it’s time to start bloom
All of my friends who have beautiful grows in CO who all grow for resin production all do the same regimes. Definitely speeds things up.Do you find that flower starts faster with 24hrs of dark? I wait to flip till they show sex like yours, and it takes about a week of 12/12 for things to get going.

Well stretch happens at night but requires the energy stored during light hours, when you have a long period of dark you deprive the plant of the energy it needs to elongate.A lack of stretch is desirable and a result of a correct flip and lamp hight but most certainly not because of three days darkness.
I found that having a negative temperature differential works great to limit the stretch. Or at least not much warmer during lights on. And I think it helps to not let the temp rise drastically when the lights first turn on if you can help it. I also think watering with cold water makes them stretch more during the stretch phase.A lack of stretch is desirable and a result of a correct flip and lamp hight but most certainly not because of three days darkness.
