I live on an island state and our border is subject to Self isolation or Quarantine requirements for people travelling so tourism is well down and so the tourism sector is effected. To help it and encourage people to travel within their own state the state gov has come up with this plan. Must say its a pretty good idea.

Crazy not to have mandatory mask wearing in states or areas that have an outbreak.


As the weather cools down the cases may rise. We are coming into the warmer months so hopefully Oz starts to see less cases and Victoria and New South Wales can get it back under control by Autumn. Victoria is in stage 3 lock downs and Melbourne itself in stage 4.

Your state will have more people die from obesity related issues this year than the hyped up virus.

In order to save those people are you okay with mandatory dietary restrictions and fat caliper measurements ? Maybe some kind of mandatory exercise program ?

The new normal ? "Get down and give me 20 tubbie" !!

Another possibility might be a counting system that is using tainted information in one locale. What assurance do you have that you haven't been lied to? "But. but the man on the television said so"

Doesn't seem like it is a better idea to fall into the trap that the conspiracy theorists online account saying to not believe the professionals.

Obesity is not contagious. Masks save lives. This isn't rocket surgery.

I wasn't talking about contagious. I was talking about freedom of choice and how to kill it.

If forcing people to wear masks "saves lives" (very debatable) wouldn't forcing people to "not be fat" also saves lives?

Speaking of surgery, are you okay with forced liposuction ?

Before you say "that's silly" and the fat police could never happen, would you have imagined a year ago we'd be talking about forced mask wearing etc ?

Why is limiting the spread important? Don't you trust your immune system ?

Also, sorry to hear you guys over there in Platypus land and neighboring New Zealand don't have any guns to defend yourselves from the coming mandatory vaccines.

Your government had no problem getting rid of the native population, what makes you think they value YOUR life ?

Better to be blind of what the hate monger that is not qualified does? No thanks.

I would suggest instead people should ignore people that spread the kind of shit you do instead.

Suggest eh?

Suggestions are acceptable ways to interact with other humans.

Forcible politician edicts, like masks etc. , are unacceptable ways to interact with other humans.
