That will work. Honestly the cogs and chain are so wide on a seven speed that you don't really need that level of precision. 11-12 speed a mm makes a big difference.Okay, about to put the fat tire bike together and try a janky repair... What do ya'll think about this method to bend the integrated derailleur hanger back into alighment?
Sure it could work. Don't know if I'd trust the rim thing....you'd need to have super true wheels. I've done the adjustable wrench trick before. Is it bent at the threads?Okay, about to put the fat tire bike together and try a janky repair... What do ya'll think about this method to bend the integrated derailleur hanger back into alighment?
Yeah, I may just try wrenching it back into place with a crescent wrench first. But my eventual plan is to run 1000w through the drivetrain, so I want things lined up properly so it doesn't cause much issue with the extra wear on the chain and cogs, especially when shifting at speed. That will work. I have super true wheels...I have like 12 wheels lying around, most from high end mountain bikes or road bikes. All were extremely well maintained before being put up into storage, and I doubt spokes stretch that much when not in useLOL

I'm going to make one of these for my father. He used to love riding mountain bikes, and now with his parkinsons he has terrible balance. So I thought a trike would be perfect for him...
Yes i think thats the same brand kit. I only bought the cheapest wet batteries wired together just to see if i would take to riding with my bad knees. I get about 10 miles range. But he's still in the mindset that he'll be able to shred gnar someday again. I gotta get him riding anything though, so I may just go ahead and build him a trike anyway.
Looks like the same wheel kit I put on my cruiser... Was it the "Voilamart" brand? What display do you have, the SW900? What size battery are you using for it?
I love your red bull helmet!
I have no idea why that lol is there.Yeah, I may just try wrenching it back into place with a crescent wrench first. That being said, I'm still gonna monkey it into place with the crescent wrench first...lol
If I start building lithium ion batteries for ebikes, maybe I'll send one your way that'll up your range to closer to 25-30 miles. I'm sure we can arrange something....lolYes i think thats the same brand kit. I only bought the cheapest wet batteries wired together just to see if i would take to riding with my bad knees. I love all that crazy stuff. Also crankworx and megavalanche. I don't think I'd wanna do it but I can appreciate what it takes.
I've been getting better slowly at dh. I don't have a bike so I have to rent one when I go. I usually go to blue mountains. I like their trails because it's all flow and table tops. I've got a mental block with big gaps and drops. It seems that every gap I've attempted I always case the landing... I just get scared and scrub too much speed. I know I can safely bail out on a table top so even the big ones don't scare me.This gets me going.

Great exercise for the trim crew too.
I bet I could build some insane trails on that property. I’ve been learning a lot about building trail features recently, really seems like something that’s right up my alley.Top trimmer/bike rider awarded a RED BULL helmet....
