Bought LED board

So I hooked up a 9 volt with 3 volts left on it and the white LEDs held back 2.2 of it and the reds 2.6? Does that sound right. Display read .04 for reds and .8 for whites...oh. that would be 2.96...i thought whites carried more current? Oh brother this sucks

Did any of the leds light up?

Pulled out half the contents of my storage cupboard and found some cree xpe far red leds I had stashed in there. These have been soldered onto modified pcbs, and i suspect because I hand soldered I may have hurt some of them.

Using the diode function on my multimeter I managed to quickly sort them into 5 groups. Starting at 1.439V going up to 1.445V. Four of the eight came out at 1.441V.

My meter is a harbor freight special. My local stores don't have anything better (Ace + Meijer + Family farm and Home) might try Menards at lunch today. But the display just reads 1 anymore when the diodes are lit, with the diode testing selection
