Also, if you grow organically, your water is very important. RO water only! Or use a good water filter. Otherwise if you use tap, the harsh chemicals will kill the microbes in your soil and you’ll see deficiencies. Like I stated above, I don’t worry about PH because my microbes do the work for me. I simply water and keep my soil moist. Even if my pot is heavy, I water enough to get the top soil wet so the microbes don’t go dormant. When my pot is light, I water until runoff and wait about an hour before I add more water. I water slowly so I fully saturate my mix and the microbes will thrive. I found mites in my soil as well, soil dwellers that help break down organic matter and make the microbes have to work less hard. This is only my 4th grow, my other 3 were full of deficiencies and toxicities because I used miracle gro. I’ll never switch away from this method for every grow I do now!

So adding microbes to tap will be useless? Or does that help? Been fkn round all day.. finally I got a serious question lol

Adding microbes to chemical filled tap water is useless. A lot of water plants use chloramine to kill bacteria in the water that can make people sick. It also kills microbes, which are bacteria

Here is a link in understanding why water ph isn’t necessary in organic growing (pretty much cationic exchange without calling it that)
Ok bro I get it now but now all I’m worried about is what do I have to do to keep the plants healthy after flipping to flower because I won’t be transplanting and I been in this soil about 50 days give or take a few days

Just add the feed to the RO water and ph to what you normally would. Do 1/4-1/2 the dose on the bottle, I don’t use bottled nutes so I’m no expert with them. But should be fine! The RO water will be better than tap water for aure

It’s about 4 hours later since I watered them and so far so good all the leaves are sticking up they look pretty happy. I figured since I probably got a bunch of salts in my dirt I’ll just give them plain ro water this go around

It’s completely up to you! If the leaves start yellowing, you’ll want to feed

I don’t know if I asked this... pardon me if I did, but what is your soil mix you’re using?

Day 41:
Down to the gelato 41. Bag seed was a female. I put the boy plant outside so I can collect pollen. On day 45 I’m setting up a trellis with 6 inch holes and on day 52 I’m up potting to a 15 gallon pot and lowering the trellis to open the canopy.

She has grown very big!! Never imagined it would be this big already. But she will be bigger. Estimating around 400g hopefully more!

I can't wait either!! I'm already so excited. 400g is an estimate, I grew this plant 1 other time and I used 4 x 23w cfl bulbs. I yielded a total of 15g off the plant :( This time is a lot more promising! Ill be happy if I yield 200g as well. I want to post an update on how I'm going to mix my soil.

So the numbers are in quarts/gallons. The second numbers after are what I'm actually going to mix in quarts because I theoretically have some already mixed.

soil: 34q/8.5g - 22q
compost: 5q/1.25g - 3q
worm casting: 5q/1.25g - 3q
perlite: 15.5q/3.875g - 9.5q
fertilizer: .5q/.125g - .5q

The first numbers equal 15 gallons, the second numbers are adjusted for my 22 quarts already mixed. Might need a bit more adjusting, but I'll figure that out when I'm less tired. lol

Depends how quickly my plant fill in my tent lol. I want at least 75% of my 4x4 box filled with tops. At that point I will flip. I am aiming for October 3rd/4th to flip to flower. 8 weeks in veg, 70 days of plants total life
More power to you bro I’ve made my mind up I’m flipping next Friday ima throw 1 more hlg 100 in here and see what the lord blesses me wit

Quick update, today is day 42 since plants have sprouted. Last night I moved the bag seed out into my patio. I think he’s a boy. Lights outside are 12 hours and about 40 minutes of daylight at this time. I’ll find out in a couple weeks if he’s truly a boy. If it’s a girl, I’ll thoroughly inspect her for any bugs and move her back inside. Here is how he’s looking outside
