I don't think so but I'd put that cube a little deeper so it was covered by the Hydroton. But that's a minor quibble.
Its second day light cycle ends at 4:30 pm todayHow many dats i mean days old?
Looks fine to meIts second day light cycle ends at 4:30 pm today
Should i be hand watering from the top or top off the water directly into the res?Looks fine to me
mmm sorry not sure i grow my seeds in soil so yeah sorry not sureShould i be hand watering from the top or top off the water directly into the res?
Try leaving your light on for 24 hours
Or moving the light a little bit closerTry leaving your light on for 24 hours
Until it's roots get below the hydroton you need to water from the top. When I ran NFT I had top lines that pumped constantly. I removed them when the roots got well below the pot. Also keep your lights 18/6. Plants benefit from a sleep cycle.Should i be hand watering from the top or top off the water directly into the res?
Some plants need dark, but I don't think cannabis does. Also keep your lights 18/6. Plants benefit from a sleep cycle.
Here's a bit of scienceSome plants need dark, but I don't think cannabis does.
I don't get how that paper is relevant. If you are referring to the dark cycle it doesn't mean it takes place at night. It means it's light independent as in it doesn't need light. At night the light cycle can't function so in the dark only the dark cycle continues and it continues as long as there is stored energy from the light cycle. Here's a bit of science

Cannabis is a C3 plant, to grossly over simplify, they inhale in the light and exhale in the dark. So they need some time out of the light. Can they survive under 24/0 yes but mere survival doesn't imply optimum environment.
Whenever a plant is deprived of light that is the plant's 'night' and the plant's physiology switches over. Anyway I've tried both ways with the same strain clones. Plants under 18/6 seemed to do best. If you prefer 24/0 enjoy. But I don't recommend it.I don't get how that paper is relevant. Ok, explain to me what happens during the dark that doesn't happen during the day. Now you're just saying you are right.Whenever a plant is deprived of light that is the plant's 'night' and the plant's physiology switches over.
