Dear
@Mim Towls,
So I stumbled on your journal by accident. I enjoy reading in the grow journal section, there are so many different ways to grow our favorite plant, and I always like reading about the many methods used. There are so many different variables. Indoor or outdoor. Hydro or soil. Organic or synthetic. LED or HID. Natural growth or topped and trained. The list goes on and on.
The thing I can say that I find in common in the really good journals is...…PASSION!
And you Sir have it.
It comes through in your plants and in the way you speak of them.
I am relatively new to growing, just recently harvested my second ever grow, working on my third.
I hadn't used cannabis for 30+ years and the wife never had. I decided that when my state went legal in Jan of 2020, that it was time to give growing a try. I studied the art of growing weed for 6 months before dropping a bean, and that has been helpful. I am after the medicinal side of the plant more so than the 'Baked' type of effect. The first two strains I grew were both high CBD strains, the first at a 1:1, and the second at a 1:2 THC : CBD. I was gifted some seeds, and out of them I selected Durban Poison for my next grow, and also have a Great Ape started 40 days behind her.
We have a plant count here, and I will never be able to have the quantity of the plants that you do, but I sincerely hope to someday be able to grow the quality of the plants that you do. The breeding thing is fascinating to me as well.
It's taken me several evenings to make my way though your journal and I can say I have truly enjoyed my time here. I will stay tuned in, and continue to admire.
Cheers,
WillieP
