Good info, how big is your tent? (assuming 2.5x2.5 since that's the "flower" rating for both lights)budget is $160 for a light and not interested in the diy

I do have vivosun carbon filters in both my tents and vivosun brand bubble bags. I tried their fans but they were loud and I switched to terrabloom.Vivosun is usually not advised when it comes to the larger parts of the grow (lights, bulbs, etc) but they make some accessories for a good value.
The Mars Hydro FC series seem to be showing a step up in their quality, I have read many reports of others having huge issues with the TS series (electric shock, longevity issues, hazards) .
Spider Farmer SF series could be the one for you. SF2000 is versatile. Viparspectra has just released a cheaper board to rival it called XS2000.
If you take your chances with Alibaba, people seem to favor Meijiu and Kingbrite.
Id run either one though. I believe the ts1000 is cheaper.is that better then the mara hydro ts1000
Problem with alibaba lights is if you break it. Unless you can just hop a plane to China for warranty obligations.Vivosun is usually not advised when it comes to the larger parts of the grow (lights, bulbs, etc) but they make some accessories for a good value.

The cobs are kinda old tech now but I still rock them and I have no complaints other than hotspots, but that's easily controlled.Lol I have an hlg, and had a few diy cobs before that.
On a budget, hid is a much better option than a cheap led.. Like one of these
Oh no doubt about it, just exhaust the air and you get much more wat per sq foot for your money, 315 cmh do run kinda hot tho. But are probably the best option in this scenario for spectrum, watts per sq foot and budget. Although hes looking at around 180-220 for a decent sun system fixture with an ushio bulbLol I have an hlg, and had a few diy cobs before that.

Im still not sold on my hlg panels. First grow under them is about midway done. The cobs make good buds, regardless of efficiencyThe cobs are kinda old tech now but I still rock them and I have no complaints other than hotspots, but that's easily controlled.
There's so much energy wasted to heat with hid though. I won't argue their effectiveness. I've grown killer bud under hid but I will argue their efficiency. It's common knowledge that the upfront cost is usually pretty high but in the long run you'll make that money back and more in energy savings.Oh no doubt about it, just exhaust the air and you get much more wat per sq foot for your money, 315 cmh do run kinda hot tho. Which HLG boards do you have?Im still not sold on my hlg panels. First grow under them is about midway done. The cobs make good buds, regardless of efficiency
Efficiency is still pretty decent from the ol' cobs. My electric bill is still much cheaper then when I used hid. Buds are still pretty solid from the cobs imo. I run a 400 watt that's approx. a 600 watt equivalent. Plus my ac runs much less. LolIm still not sold on my hlg panels. First grow under them is about midway done. I have a couple 648's on single heatsinks with a homemade frameWhich HLG boards do you have?
