For led it's about 40 to 45w per sqft due to efficiency ratings
Rt,,but...2000w of led pulled from the wall, has the sane price tag as 2000w of hps,,not including the cooling bill of course. That's where the confusion comes in. Where a 600w quality led is a "1000w hps replacement", shouldn't that same 5x10 space only require 2, 600's vs 2 hps?

I'm on the fence about 600w Led being the same as a 1000w Hps. You would do better asking some more of the tech savvy guys about that. I will tell you this however, 600w of LED generates the same amount of heat as a 600w HPS. It's just you use less wattage to generate more usable light than an HPS. LEDs don't produce radiant heat like HPS either. That heat cannot be mitigated by cooling.

Any updates.
Yes sorry, I'm really bad about this lately. I scored 9lbs this time, exponentially better than before. I think schwazzing my pants before flower made an incredible contribution as well as the other changes. I'm going for another run with the Northern Lights, because I was so impressed. I'll try to post some harvest pics as well as the new run tommorow. Trimming that much bud is a mother fucker.

Day 62 of flower for the GTH #1. I dropped the temps to 73F/day - 63F/night and h to tighten the buds up as this strain can get quit airy if preemptive measure are not taken. I also brought the Co2 down to 700ppm. They have fatten up nicely and the lemon smell has faded into a more natural smell and less floor cleaner. Looks great. What's your Co2 reciepe? Start out high and slowly decrease?

Hello Therrion,

You got rid of the uni-slabs? Are those 6 inch rock-wool cubes in the pots? Is that only 1 drip line or 2 per pot and how many times per day are you feeding and for how long?

Thank you,

Thank you,
Yes, the unislabs provided too much media and I couldn't get a good 70% dryback on the rockwool between watering's. I have loose fill rockwool in the pots https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018WLSNPW?pf_rd_r=MEQDFST7YP56C26VBPNT&pf_rd_p=edaba0ee-c2fe-4124-9f5d-b31d6b1bfbee . I found with my setup, waiting an hour after lights on and watering for 3min every 3 hours, then stop watering an hour or 2 before lights off was optimal for the first 2 to 3 weeks of flowering. After that I started watering at lights on every three hours and before the lights went off was good. If you run this setup use a https://www.homedepot.com/p/DIG-3-4-in-Pipe-Thread-Screen-Filter-D55/100124593 inline before the 2 x https://floraflex.com/product/quick-disconnect-pipe-system/ or you WILL get a clog and your plants will die quick. Also clean the filter with every resvoir change, especially if you us beneficials like recharge and molasses. With this method plant steering is much more achievable , but it comes with high risk/reward. Miss one watering and it could kill your plants.

I missed part of your question. I'm only using one drip line per pot, but it's split at the end with a 1/4" barbed t so it spreads to both sides of the floracap.
