All they are saying is treat em with kid gloves till they are in their final pot
I have transplanted them without issue

DudeI think when I med previous soil that had root rot with soil that didn't have root rot, i think it greatly increased the chance of root rot as well. I just hate how nobody could give you pointers as well. Like for example I spent all day looking at good soil for autoflowers to see if happy frog with perlite would help. He is my results: I love happy frog its the best, I hate happy frog it causes root burn, happy frog is not ph balanced, happy frog needs an equal mix of happy frog and ocean forest, just add perlite, i add coco, i add perlite and coco. Like come on this doesnt help when one person says something works out great, and the other says it crap. All I know, is I need to get more air to this soil! I need to find a watering schedule that works as well. Last time i used one cup of water, and waited three days, and my roots dried up . I seriously am trying everything.
that's how it is right now. My first grow wasn't bad, it wasn't a big yield at all, by i managed to break even. This grow im in the negative quite a bit after one month of lights and nothing to show, 80 some waisted on seeds, 200 for tent, 230 for new lights, and 40 some for soil and perliteI wouldn't say they don't work necessarily. They work to a point to give you an estimation. It's not fool proof. You still need to learn and know the signs which only come with experience. Some guys nail it right off the bat. I dunno how. Others like me have to learn the hard and expensive way through trial and error. Just how it is.
Hell yah you can read the plant the leaves are a lil droopy they wana eat the on point and attention there fine lolBtw... after a while you won't need her to wilt to know when to water. You'll just know when it's time.
no shit, probkems to early always seem to be a high chance of death i was thinking about coco, i just was scared because idk if I would have under watered. Also I never re use soil I've done 2 runs and have had to buy would each time you want to start off with as least problems as possible for the journey and as clean as possible

Grab a cheap soil meter I have one just cuz I like to buy gadgets but it seems to work stick it in all places of pot and see what it's looking likeno shit, probkems to early always seem to be a high chance of death i was thinking about coco, i just was scared because idk if I would have under watered.
Also you may have already said it but what size pots you running and what soil again ?I will have to think about that, do you give them two weeks, then transfer?
It depends on how they are doingI will have to think about that, do you give them two weeks, then transfer?
BoomI hear your frustration. I was where your at too. Still kind of am. I got one plant not drinking as fast so I need to give each plant their own watering schedule instead of all the same amount at the same time. I keep a couple moms in soil but I veg and flower in dwc. People say dwc is hard but ime I believe it's easier. As long as you got air pumps running and/or fluming, waterfalling, roots get plenty of air. Plus you can see the roots do its easier to diagnose what's going on. Not to mention all the other benefits of hydroponics. Lol
Is there a way to test the amount of water leaving the soil? Could I take a small empty pot, get its weight when its dry, give it water, get its weight when when, then weigh it every day to get a percentage for water leaving the soilI hear your frustration. After a few weeks you will be able to tell the same thing by just lifting themIs there a way to test the amount of water leaving the soil? Cleanliness is key to growing good. LolAlso I never re use soil I've done 2 runs and have had to buy would each time you want to start off with as least problems as possible for the journey and as clean as possible

Would a whicking system be good? I just thought mabe I could fill a bottle of water, stuff a torn piece of shirt to clog the bottle hole. Squeeze a little so the water quickly runs through the shirt, then stick it in the ground? I'm trying this out right now in just plain soil with no seed.you could try that. I'm not sure how effective it would be but I've never tried it. It's possible you could make that work for you.
