Hey There, I'm finishing my Master's and my final project involves attempting to understand/address the energy impacts of small-scale pot production as well as openness to implementing policies that would help to address this. Small-scale pot production uses small inefficient kilns. This makes for expensive pottery.

Last time we used a VPN was in highschool when they first got a computer lab. I think that was 2008. If you want an effective one these days you have to build your own. Who do you think makes the accessible VPNs now?

I always want to be informed if I am wrong. Recently the USA Federal government attempted to subpoena PIA's records. The attempt failed as there no records to subpoena. I know people in China who use certain VPNs to bypass China censorship of the net. They've done it several years now and haven't disappeared yet.
What do you suggest

People are having to build their own - because majority of the offerings are heavily collected on now

It's actually one of my jams; privacy. I bounce. Sometimes I'm in china sometimes I'm in los angeles but I'm never really home.. digital travel :eyesmoke:

Social media these days every minute and second of someone's life is online. Right now people can't get enough attention and to me it's crazy. But in the future I believe they will be asking for 5 minutes of privacy. Too late their entire life is translated into data and there is no more privacy. Send me a msg my friend builds his own remote servers and VPNs if you like using VPNs. Maybe he can point u in the right direction to build one that only you have access to.

VPNs from third parties are like tissue culture labs asking to "hold" onto genetics

You've been smoking too much pot and watching too many movies. Lol. The government is not monitoring VPNs. They dont have blanket access and if they wanted to even attempt to find a specific person it would require an incredible amount of work, money, and resources. If you are at that point you're already fucked.

It's free to make ur own if you know what you're doing. And I never said they monitor it. But the third party is collecting your data.
