Can a plant be ‘too’ perky?

Now I’ve heard the saying praying leaves. And in my experience my plants are very happy when they have praying/flat leaves.

Just recently this Strawberry Pie just turning 5 Weeks has been getting very perky indeed.

So is there such a thing as too perky? Lol.

From the looks of the node spacing, bud size @ 5 weeks, and the "overly excited" praying, not nearly enough.

Could be wrong but it looks like ur light may be too high. And they're reaching

Well if not enough were the case the bottoms would be turning up too, no? Maybe they're trying to shade themselves as that's not really the optimal way to capture light and the plant knows this. The bottom buds aren't smaller than the tops either so they're getting enough light

Your plants are fine. Don't listen to anyone that says anything other, praying plants are working plants. Give them a sandwhich(aka fertigarion)

Under 600w MH and has been around 2ft from the tops all her life. Always remained a shorter plant than the other two. Only been budding a week too.

This was 3 days ago. She had a dry period and after the watering has gone super perky.

I feel that. I have some genetics that lack that "plump" look on going for early on but I'm hoping they fill out towards the end

Well if it’s a slow grower then maybe it’s just like the short kid standing on his tippy toes. Lol.

I have had the off plant do that “pray and no other”. But never found a reaso and they alway turned out the same.

Oh she is an autoflower btw.. so 5 weeks old.

Plumping nicely so far as she’s only been budding about a week.
