Grow set up and Intake fan help!!!

Getting my fan and carbon filter in a couple days and was wondering Would I be able to attach the metal tubing to my top exhaust hole and just run it to the fan blowing into on the carbon filter right outside the tent and still get good results or do I need to feed the tubing near a window.
Providing picture but I don’t have the fan and filter yet so I made an example lmfaoo ( bottom box- carbon filter, top box- “exhaust fan”, dog leash- “metal tubing”)

Definitely agree with what bob said. If you want the thread you made to be seen because no one has commented... just comment in the thread and it will push it to the top of the list of active threads. I didn't see the other threads.. but I'm sure the firing squad will be in here to address it.

It is possible to set up your fan and filter outside of the tent with only the exhaust hose connected at your top vent. That will save space inside your tent for other things but will exhaust excess heat into your room which might have to be managed to keep temps where you want them.

I have a Cornhole set in the box under the tent and the box is a little wider than the tent so the filter just sits there. Not elevating the filter for any specific reason, but I did however want my tent elevated off the floor during the winter months.

Thanks bro so I should be fine then if I just have the filter standing up on the tile then? And one more thing lol if I’m setting it up like you I have the arrow pointing towards the filter right and the other end connected to duct

Yea. Arrow into the filter pointing down. It can be mounted on the wall if you wanted. Your preference.

Just one thing! The end that is in the tent drawing air out put a ladies stoking over the end and put elastic bands around to keep it secure. It acts as a pre filter so bits don’t clogg the filter up on the inside.

Will do and by ladies stroking you are talking about pantyhose right? What they may wear under a dress or something like that? also how high should I use my fan for seedling or is it not needed till flowering
