You're right. I thought you were talking about Wagos. Ya those are the connectors I thought he was talking about, but it shouldn't just fall off unless he hit it on something or pulled on it.

I don't know what those connectors are called. I wouldn't call them Molex connectors, but I could be wrong.

Yeah they are Molex. Apparently, Molex is actually a company. I’m used to the term Molex being used for the 4-pin PC connectors.

Ok, just seemed like you were mad, no big deal. So you purchased this last year as a diy, the connector came off and you still have it? I am sure they would have just sent you another had you contacted them. If it were me I would just call HLG and I am sure they can help you, well maybe, not sure after waiting a year what they will do. Worst case scenario take it to any electronics store where they do repair, a 5 min solder job will cost next to nothing. Good luck bud, no matter what you should get it replaced or repaired. It seems like a sin to have such a great light sitting in a box.
It didn't happen a year ago, that's when I bought it... This just happened the other day... The molex is what its called!!! I couldn't remember so it was ticking me off a bit,but yeah, was hooking my lights back up and off it came... The Rspec 240w kit V2

Ok cool, I must have misunderstood. The boards us a Molex Lite-Trap connector 104188-0110 rated max 300V A . If HLG won't replace it just order one and take it to a local electronics store. It would be a 5 min repair. I get that you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself which is totally fine but I am sure it is easily done if you just call around. Good luck man, sucks that it broke but I am sure you can get it all sorted.

Edit: You can buy a replacement for about 50 cents. Not sure which one specifically is on your board but it is either a single or double circuit. Attached is a sheet with both part numbers. They can be purchased here. https://www.molex.com/molex/products/part-detail/pcb_receptacles/1041880110

Actually its just the plastic casing that came off,now that I look at it... now my problem is remember how I had it hooked up before... If I don't electrocute myself I'll let ya'll know how it went!!!
I don't think it can electrocute you at that point. I think the Amps are super low. It might give you a little buzz though, I don't know. I would imagine it would be kinda like sticking a 12V battery to your tongue. But don't quote me on this, lol.

I don't know. You might not feel anything.

Ok, that's not so bad. If it were me I would bend those prongs down so that wire never comes out again. Than cover it with something. Cut the wire a few inches out and put a connector on it so you can plug and unplug it if you need to. Simple wire connector from hardware store just clamps to wire and is squeezed with pliers. Good as new :)

Assuming that you are trying to connect in series, you need to connect + to -.
No I think these lights run parallel... 20201123_212009.jpg20191202_135032.jpg20191123_084040_HDR.jpgThis is hooked up the same way as it was when I first did it... Positive to positive and negative to negative... The last two was when I had them working... I don't understand why they are not working when all of my other ones are... I don't know fellas and ladies out there, I'm at a total loss cause neither of the lights are working now... :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :fire::wall:

Did you pm him? Did you email the company? Try these routes and if you don't get them in a few days, PM me, maybe I can help

All caps wasn't a big deal, sometimes I just do it... I bought a 240w kit last year and when I put the wire from my driver to the connector the connector came off... I am no good at soldering anything so that's out of the question for me and I can't afford to buy another light... I know they would fix it,l was just wondering where @Stephenj37826 was since I never cee him commenting

I think I know what's wrong now. Also you mean the HLG 260 Rspec V2, not 240.

I'm guessing you ordered the kit and put it together yourself, correct?

Because you wired them in parallel vs series.

You're probably frying those circuits. No wonder shit is falling off, lol.
