He would have to do it from a federal or state prison and the democrats could impeach him after he leaves office to prevent him from holding any federal office. If they impeach him after he is convicted of crimes, the republicans will have a hard time not finding him guilty and it would split the base, they would dread it.
Convicted felons can't run for public office.........hell they can't even vote.
How fast can they get him into jail? He has some great lawyers. They might delay it until after the 2024 election .
i looked it up: felons can run for POTUS. there are only 5 requirements to be met and that isn't one.

I say impeachment after conviction in a court to prevent him from running again, even from prison and to hold the republican senate's feet to the fire, discredit them and split the base and party wide open.
