It looks good to me, smoke em!
Tbh idk for sure, but I do know for sure that bud rot does kill off the stem which in turn dries out the bud above it.Idk thats stem rot not bud mold i thought obviously they both bad and similiar but i thought theres a distinction between em both
Bud rot takes a while tho. Several days to kill the whole bud like that. Root rot, on the other hand, will kill a top bud in 24 hours plus. The water is blocked from getting to the top and then the heat from the light kills the whole bud and dries it out.Tbh idk for sure, but I do know for sure that bud rot does kill off the stem which in turn dries out the bud above it.
Yeah true it kills the plant stem n all but i have seen stem rot slow vs the way it would be with bud mould il give you its more on outdoor plants ive seen stem rot with no bud mould tho but thats been my experiences anyway mate u could be right just without light burn or obvious mould thats why i suggested he check his roots cos with root rot ive seen a almost dry on the vine type of thing happen before due to root rotTbh idk for sure, but I do know for sure that bud rot does kill off the stem which in turn dries out the bud above it.
I disagree!Bud rot takes a while tho. Several days to kill the whole bud like that. Root rot, on the other hand, will kill a top bud in 24 hours plus. The water is blocked from getting to the top and then the heat from the light kills the whole bud and dries it out.
Bud rot would have a moist bud because water would still be getting up to the top of the plant. That's why it will continue rotting. But in this case the OP said the bud was completely dry and crumbling. I assume in a short period of time because he seemed surprised by this development.
The OP said that the other colas on the same plant were "soft". This makes an even better case for root rot because they will aslo be dead and dry under a hot light over the next 24 to 36 hours.
He MIGHT be able to save the plant with a full flush and NO nutes. But I think it's already too late.
Is everything below that bud healthy, idk anything about stem or root rot but I'd expect it would get worse day after day if it was a typo of rot?
WTF? Now people are seeing spores. This is getting funny.Put a bag over it and then chop it. Any moving around and the spores will Spread. Pay more attention to yellowing top leaves in the future.
Never said i seen spores just said they could be present...this is obviously bud rot tho. People saying “theres no grey or brown” lmao thats late stage. It has to die before it rots fully. As i said from my previous post starts from the stem and slowly eats away till u see it. By the time u see it spores are live. Been growing outdoors for 6+ years and budrot is Easy for me to spot. Iv had this dry crumbly symptom many times just means room is hot. Most likley formed at lights off.WTF? Now people are seeing spores. This is getting funny.
Whatever you say. I'm done.Never said i seen spores just said they could be present...this is obviously bud rot tho. People saying “theres no grey or brown” lmao thats late stage. You said that root rot would cause a top bud to die in 1 day. Now that is some funny shit.WTF? Now people are seeing spores. This is getting funny.
Yes it crumbly not soft at all Im pretty sure its not bud rot. You were asking me for the temps a hum. The humidity is 40-45 sometimes 50 but rarely and the temp is around 75fIs there any Purple Punch in that pheno?
Cut the thing down cause it's the roots most likely. Sometimes down deep in the soil one area gets acidic real bad and will effect one main branch at a time. So far that one branch is dead up top meaning no water/nutes are getting to it. So the light is essentially cooking the top bud on that branch. It's dead, get rid of it. See how the buds are doing below it.
You said the other buds up top on the other branches are soft. That also means water is slowing down to the top. they will look like the other bad one in 24 hours or less. Cut the whole thing down and save what you can.
Need proof? Lift the plant out of the pot. Check to see the color of the roots. If they are brown they are dying. You might save it but I believe the damage is already done.
Don't cut anything down until you check the roots. But the dead top you DO need to cut off asap.
Once the top bud has no moisture your light will cook it in 24 to 36 hours. Dipshit. But you did make me laugh with your puny knowledgeYou said that root rot would cause a top bud to die in 1 day. Now that is some funny shit.
Ya dude it would be all moist and smelly with bud rot. When did you first notice your bud like that? Just to prove to the schmuck Lawrence that it CAN happen in 24 to 36 hours. I wasn't the one who asked about humidity or temps. I asked if u can pull the plant out and look at the roots.Yes it crumbly not soft at all Im pretty sure its not bud rot. I realized in a few days 2-3 happened quickly I didnt check the roots yet but I will when I get homeYa dude it would be all moist and smelly with bud rot. Root rot doesn't do that. You're high on acid if you think that is what root rot does. Dipshit.Once the top bud has no moisture your light will cook it in 24 to 36 hours. Dipshit. But you did make me laugh with your puny knowledge
The OP just confirmed my diagnosis in the post above yours. Now gtfo dipshitRoot rot doesn't do that. You're high on acid if you think that is what root rot does. Dipshit.
