Yeah...what Ren said. Here is mine and yes, it spits a bit of water but not that much actually. I've been hanging a sweat shirt over mine but a cup is a bit more practical 
Mine seems to be working great so far. I created a drain valve so the air will push much of the water out of the lines and back into the res.
I have the air bleed at the very end of the main line, per FloraFlex recommendation.

I don't know. This is my 1st ever watering system. They said at least 6 inches higher than the highest point so I just went a little higher than that.

I interpreted it as the highest of either of those. In my case, the manifolds are the highest point. But if the trays were higher than the manifold, then the trays would be the highest point (I'm no expert, just how I understood it)

No time limit on veg just need to fill the canopy out as much as I. I’ll be putting some trellis in soon. I’m doing lst and topping

Not sure what ur talking bout but I heard something about that and someone drilled a hole in the pvc pipe to fix it.

Ok so you mean the left over water that’s left in the pvc pipes after feeding? And to get rid of it the next feeding so ur plants won’t be getting whacked out ph’d water that was left in the pvc?

You’re talking about a snorkel? Just have a quarter inch line tap into your main running back into your reservoir so it does not keep siphoning water through your OCTO bubblers when the watering cycle ends.
