Too much humidity or normal for being in darkness at mid 50 degrees F?

I wanna imitate real outdoor environment with an indoor grow to see how it comes out, i've had bomb mass produced outdoor that's as good as more expensive indoor except for taste difference sometimes so i figured 24 hours of light is a waste for me since I'm not in a rush to get to harvest, so I'm gonna do some experimenting

For what your trying to achieve is never going to happen,
with having it in a dark wet cold place And moving in and out twice a day....
Be far more better just doing a normal indoor grow in same room

Leaving the plant in temps below 72 degrees F during lights off is a great way to grow mold and mildew, not cannabis.

Isn't keeping a minimally interrupted day/night even in veg important though so it doesn't switch back and forth in how it operates internally? And who tf has 50 degree temps in the kitchen?? Lmao y'all be too lit

You can run 24 hr light on vegging plants. Cannabis is a C3 plant and doesn’t need a rest period. Why is it 50degrees you need it much warmer.

Honestly, what is your question?

Are you asking about the droplets on the leaf tips when you put the cup over it and left it in 50 degree F darkness?

If so, I can tell you exactly what happened. The plant constantly expels moisture, the cup over the plant captures the moisture in the air, the air outside the cup is 50 degrees F, the relatively warmer air inside the cup condensed and formed water vapor droplets due to the colder air outside the cup. These droplets fell and landed on your plant.

Stop putting a cup over the plant. A plant outside never has a cup over it, so if you want to replicate the outdoors, don't do that.

The RH goes up as the temp goes down. I can tell you from hard won experience with cold temps that you are asking for a nasty powdery mildew attack-leave that poor plant uncovered!!

If this is a photo-period plant, it is either in veg, or it is in flower. One. or the other. If it is getting 18 or more hours of light per day, it will stay in veg. If it getting more like 12 hours of light a day, it will flower.

I dont think you have anything figured out. The whole point of a good indoor grow is to recreate an environment just like the ideal outdoor growing days without all the bad shit like bugs, storms, dust/dirt in the air getting stuck to buds, pollen from people who dont know what they are doing growing male plants, etc etc etc. The whole point of indoor grows is to never have a cloudy day, to much rain, bugs, to hot, to cold, etc etc etc. If you are taking away all factors like cost, space, etc. then the only advantage of growing outdoors is the SUN. Sunlight will always grow the best bud. Its power is unmatched.


You see.... The light = the sun. The exhaust fan = the constant supply of fresh air. The oscillating fans = a nice breeze. Temps never go over 76 and never under 68. Humidity stays a constant 35-40% (no mold). Filters on the intake vents of the tent keep out any dust. These are the ideal conditions whether you are growing indoor or out. Purposely creating shitty conditions indoor to be more like outdoor is not going to make anything better for you. The only reason outdoor plants can come out amazing is because no light will grow a plant as well as the SUN.




Its almost like you are claiming that indoor growers create an environment that never happens outdoor.... well sunny 75 and dry is pretty much what i think of when i think about California. Or inside my tent. Places that both grow amazing weed. Now when i think about Canada where trying to pull off an outdoor grow when its snowing in early september, i dont think about good weed ever growing outdoors there.
