SMMFH! Droopy leaves... HELP!

So, I believe I may have overwatered my lemon pie in solo cup. Could be nitrogen toxicity?? What was once my most impressive plant, now seems to be doomed and gloomed.

She hasn’t received any water for 3d and I turned off humidifier so it could dry faster. I transplanted into 3g pot last night to check out the roots and soil. Soil was not wet and roots seemed to be good but were reaching the bottom of cup. Turned back on humidifier as well. 60-80rh 74-80f. FFOF now with 50% added perlite. Day 11/12.

Any suggestions, criticism welcome! Help me get this girl back to her glory!

With small seedlings in solo cups I let em dry..basically bone dry before watering. When top of soil is dry and cup feels real light..move hour finger gently into soil to make sure it’s dry a little bit down and more than just surface dry...then water but don’t soak to run off. Memorize how the cup feels after it’s gone dry and passed the finger test. It’s the best way I’ve found to treat seedlings in solos

Thanks man. I transplanted to 3gallon. I understand this info I’m asking when do I water again bc seedling is droopy. Do I wait until it perks back up or? It’s in fresh soil that’s never been watered.

Water now and pick up pot once you water. Gauge how heavy it is. Every day pick up the pot until it feels really light then rewater again. That is how you know when to water is by the pot being light.

So if I water it now it won’t effect the already over watered seedling? And should I water just the base until runoff or tho whole pot?

If you have not watered her into the new pot then i would not , i would keep her in the solo cup for the simple reason of overwatering. its really hard to overwater a solo cup. Its EXTREMELY easy to overwater the 3 gallon pot .....and you will. Next time you have a seedling , keep her in a solo till she is 8" with some branches .... or at least a month ish. You can really keep a close eye on a solo cup .... you have to kinda know what your doing to water a seedling in a 3 gallon [pot.
Bigger pots are for more experienced growers in my opinion.

How wet was the soil it was already in when you transplanted? It might perk more if it’s too wet and it reaches a better moisture level/aeration in next few days. May not perk until you let it dry and then water again. Honestly, I’d let it go without watering until it starts to droop from lack of water (there will be a limpness to the drooping leaves) and then you’ll know for sure that you’re ready. Watering can be very tricky for newer growers. I’m sure some will disagree but it’s a method. Then your concern will be with how much water to use when it’s time to hydrate them

The solo cup itself was soak and wet , so it was overwaterwed. now that you have her in dry soil , the moisture from the solo is going into the 3 gallon soil very rapidly. (therfor she is not overwatered anymore)
There are 2 ways to water her at this point.....one is to water the whole pot till runoff, the other is to water just enough to keep her going. You are much safer watering a tiny bit until the pot is evenly moist.
Feel the dry pot weight for a reference. When its gets that light , its time to water.
Right now , 16 oz of water is about right to just get her into her new pot..... 16oz around the pot.....wait till its time to water again and give her another 8-16 oz and by the third or fourth watering , you will be able to water the whole pot from there on out.

This method is great for newbies.... its very hard to water properly. IF a plant droops from not enough wateer then you can water it and watch it recoup fast (like literally a few minutes)....if you overwater , you cannot recoup fast. its going to take days if not weeks.

I wasn’t planning on transplanting until seedling stage was over, but I needed to see the roots and how the soil was so I transplanted. I’m also growing autos and it’s recommended to plant directly into final pot so I need to figure out how to water 3 gallon anyway. Not sure if waiting til it grows branches to transplant an auto is a good idea. We all gotta start somewhere.

The soil was dry in solo cup before transplant.

The soil was dry. The new soil had more moisture than in solo.
