I’d say the draw from the wall is very useful to know so you can tell if you are getting what you think you paid for? Definitely not saying all 100w lights are created equal.
The draw from the wall is the most important factor in any light.
I've had this discussion a few times, so short version, there are too many factors to take into account for draw from the wall to be accurate for LEDs.
If it's actively cooled, how many of those watts are for the fan?
How efficient are the diodes?
How much of the power going in gets lost as heat?
A 100w quantum board from this year is going to grow far better weed than a 100w 10 year old Chinese blurple.
Same watts from the wall.

@Rurumo is right. Unless you're getting a better light soon, try to move it closer to your plants and they should stop stretching.
