Im supposed to be off work today , and im not im sitting here dealing with this fucking thread I consider boxing day a holiday still but rollitup doesnt seem too.

I made a decision not to mod politics years ago and today here I am dealing with it.

I have been very vocal about the politics section being dealt with im not the only and final say when it comes to entire sections.
,you are also a problematic person in here, theres many wrongs and it isnt just the people saying the n word. Its an entire group of people here and there that are consistent problems

If I had my way this area would be gone, and it would have almost all of its participants banned because none of them follow the rules.

I understand what you are saying but those platforms are multi million dollar platforms who have endless amounts of technology available to them and AI systems that filter that shit,

We have 3 staff members who do all the moderation by hand.
You have to realize we are a much smaller website,We are not facebook, we dont make millions of dollars and have thousands of employees at our access to do such a thing

Were an old school forum. Our mods have to sleep, no matter how many we ask to volunteer their time they are still volunteers its still all manual and it isnt justthe front page of the forum thatgets worked on its the back end, its everything

We really try but majority of our users refuse to help us byusing the report feature because its "snitching" but they want us to do something about it.
We sit here forhours on end reading until our eyes hurt modding. We cant get everything, we dont have an AI system,

You have to realize you cant put us against facebook and other social medias and say well do it like this we just dont havethe resources

Probably the most truthful and factually correct post I think I've EVER seen posted in the P. Section. Thank you, Sunni, for stating something that has been blaringly evident but for some reason never mentioned, or it may have been previously mentioned but immediately deleted. I'll be waiting for the barrage of attacks from all the "usual suspects". Sunni, I commend you for all your work and honesty.

This is the most hostile section of the forums for sure. There are certainly specific people who make it that way while others are respectful and try to have conversations. It would be quite the challenge to neutrally moderate this section...

Sunni is ok. She's a computer nerd. She just wants to be left alone. Really, though. Compared to where this forum was four+ years ago, it's a lot cleaner. Rolli is doing an OK job, given the bag of dicks that he has to moderate.

I do think that calling people the n or fg words should be grounds for banning. Not that it's so shocking to see it but because anybody who does that is simply being provocative without contributing to the conversation. So, eff em. But then again it's up to Rolli.
