I was cloning in a DIY cloner done with a tupperware and an air pump, hose, and stone with water and after 2 weeks I got roots, however, humidity was high, probably due to the extra holes through which some water splashed out from the popped bubbles. The thing is, the clones developed heavy mold just when they started rooting, this was also possible due to the fact that these clones had early flowers when I cut them.
In other words, I want to find out how to fix this design. I'm already trying to clone in a simple glass of water and see how it goes, but so far, I know that if it weren't for the mold, my DIY cloner would have been a success, so I ask you:
1. Was the dome necessary?
2. I guess I should have blocked the remaining holes from where water was splashing out
3. Would you advice using hydroguard or H2O2 on the water?
4. Clones in flowering probably not the best idea.
