I have to weigh in on Covid vaccines.
Fortunately, Trump had nothing to do with the vaccines. The only thing his adminstration did was prepare and expedite supply chain. And ultimately, distribution does not appear to be going as planned. There are lots of very good supply chain people in the US military and if no-one plays politics with them, they'll get it right.
Pfizer and Moderna are only the first out of the gate. The new mRNA vaccines for coronavirus have been in development since SARS in 2002. You remember SARS, right? I still haven't read any of the literature so, for me, the jury is still out on long term safety. The first indications appear good.
If you don't trust the new mRNA vaccines, J&J will be releasing an adenovirus vaccine later this year.
